Welcome 2020 was all about survival and looking after the wonderful clients that we have built strong relationships with since I founded Running Imp in 1988; the Virgin Money London Marathon and BTR Liverpool to name just two. But it’s not just the big city events that we pride ourselves in supplying, it’s also the multitude of fun runs, road races, triathlons, swimming events and schools the length and breadth of the country that we have worked with over the years. Sadly, many businesses have fallen by the wayside during these trying and testing times. But due to the dedication, hard work and commitment of our staff we survived, and if anything have grown stronger together as a team.
Bespoke Medals & Pin Badges are the heartbeat of our business, supplying finishers’ medals to mass participation events all over the world from the London Marathon to Las Vegas, Antarctica to Australia, Spain to Saudi Arabia, to Norway, the Netherlands and New Zealand, with no event too large, but more importantly, too small. We also work closely with charities and the corporate market, and with years of experience in the manufacture of custom lapel pin badges, it’s our aim to provide the most creative and eyecatching designs to suit all budgets and tastes. Method We make a die of your design, stamp it onto metal and then in-fill with a powdered glass mixture which after it has been fired in a kiln is then polished to give a bright shine and smooth finish. Photo Printed & Brushed Metal Lapel Pin Badges.
Photo Printed Pin Badges Shape They can be produced in any shape.
These are ideal for intricate designs with multi-colours, gradients and even photographic images allowing a crisp reproduction. Method For these we stamp out the metal to the shape of your design then digitally print your image onto the blank shaped metal before coating it with a clear epoxy dome to protect it and give a smooth glossy finish. Q Where are the pin badges manufactured? A All our custom lapel pin badges are manufactured at our partner factories in China, for the very best quality at effectively wholesale prices.
Q What pin badge finishes are available? A We have a variety of custom lapel pin badge finishes to choose from. See page 3 for our most popular finishes.
Q How do I go about ordering my custom lapel pin badges? A Simply follow our 6 step guide below.
Q Is there a surcharge for the pin badges to be flown in? A No.
Q How can I work out the price of my pin badges? A Other than our standard shaped pin badges which have their own price table, simply measure to the longest point of your pin badge and look at that size in the pricing table. If you have any queries or are unsure on anything, please do not hesitate to contact us, we will be only too happy to answer any questions that you might have.
1 Choose your style of lapel pin badge. 2 Tell us the quantity, shape, size, and finish, with what enamelling colours and logos (if applicable) and the date required. 3 We will then submit a quotation for your approval. 4 Once you have accepted our quotation, we will send you artwork for approval within 3 to 4 working days. 5 After your design has been signed off, production will commence. 6 Your order will then be delivered to you within your requested timescale.

Q I only have a rough sketch of my pin badge design. Is that OK? A Yes. Simply send us your guidelines with any logos/images (if there are any you want incorporating), and we will design your pin badge for you Free of Charge.
Q Will I be charged a die charge? A Yes. You will be charged the die charge that reflects the style of custom lapel pin badge that you have chosen.
Why not use our Free Design Service. On acceptance of a quote, we will send you a design within 3 - 4 working days - and above all it’s Free no matter what size your order! Simply send us your guidelines with any logos and we will do the rest.

Q I have heard that the pin badges can be produced and delivered in 3-4 weeks, is that correct? A Yes they can. Once you have ‘signed-off’ the artwork and approved your design it can take only 3-4 weeks to produce and deliver your pin badges using air freight.
Q How long will it take for me to receive artwork back from you for approval? A Firstly we will send you a quotation. Once you have accepted our quotation, we will then proceed with your pin badge design which you should normally receive within 3 to 4 working days, or even less. Q When I have received my pin badge design back for approval, what if I require any changes? A No problem. We will amend your design until you are completely happy with it!

Q Will I be charged a die charge for repeat orders? A No. Absolutely not providing that nothing changes at all. Q What if want just the year changing? A Depending on the design and size of the amendment there would be a small charge to pay. Please contact us and we will give you an exact costing.
