Incredibly, 2025 will mark 37 years since my father founded Running Imp in January 1988, little did he imagine that it would have grown into the market leader in our field that it has today.
We are very proud to be supplying the finisher’s medals to some of the world’s greatest mass participation events including the TCS London Marathon and the AJ Bell Great North Run and can now offer 100% recycled medals and ribbons.
We’ve also invested heavily to help the environment by becoming more ecofriendly at work, and in April last year installed 220 solar panels on our Jubilee House headquarters in Lincoln, see below.
But whether it’s a large city event or a village fun run, no event is too large, but more importantly too small. We’re here to help you, and work with you, and give you the kind of service that we have always prided ourselves upon; Service, Advice, Choice and Value, to help make your event a success and memorable for your entrants.
It has been great to see the resurgence continue of fun runs, road races and mass participation events, along with swim meets, triathlons, school sports days and charity fundraisers making a much-welcomed comeback to their prepandemic days.

Inflatable Gantry Hire
We have 3 gantry colours: blue, red and pink. All are 7m wide x 4m high and can show START, FINISH or can be blank. Depending on your event they could be used at the start showing START and then moved to the finish to show FINISH and are available to hire. Inflated Anywhere
Each gantry comes with a freestanding blower which will inflate it within seconds. Both petrol and electric blowers are now available; the advantage of a petrol blower is that the gantry can be inflated anywhere, and not restricted to a nearby power point.
