Welcome, How to Contact Us & Order It was great to see the resurgence of more fun runs, road races and mass participation events returning last year after Covid-19 decimated our industry in 2020. Sadly, some events have fallen by the wayside, but with swim meets, triathlons, school sports days and charity fundraisers making a much-welcomed comeback, the industry is getting back to its prepandemic days.
Incredibly, January 2024 will mark 36 years since my father co-founded Running Imp in 1988. Little did he imagine that it would have grown into the market leader in our field that it is today.

London Marathon Events has brought together the London Marathon, the world’s greatest cycling festival and the inspirational open-water swimming event, Swim Serpentine, to create the London Classics, one of the world’s great sporting challenges. To complete the challenge, you are required to: • Run the London Marathon • Cycle 100 miles in the RideLondon-Essex 100 • Swim 2 miles at Swim Serpentine. If you complete this iconic trio of events, you will receive a specially designed and much-coveted London Classics medal engraved with the Latin words: Et ego Londinium vici (‘I too have conquered London’) and will be listed in the London Classics Hall of Fame.
