nowadays for one s inability to express their solid ideas in public speaking form.
The office environment is created based on a futuristic-minimalist-retro concept, which aims for a fun and playful environment, ditching the rigid office design as in the box of communication/ speaking boundaries. "Create the WALKTHROUGH SPACE animation virtually in a more streamline and interactive manner, it must be able to communicate the overall design of the programming proposed."
FRUITFUL and EYE-OPENING. The best to summarize the whole input on MLE approach. The entire process is an all-new experience, open for collaboration with BAT and BQS, a mimic of the industry to give us exposure before embarking on internship next year. However, this road is full of ups and downs. Despite having periodic weekly meeting, the collaboration part is still lacking, especially in between BAT and BIA Groups. Both parties are lacking in interaction when it comes to design as only leaders are mainly doing the discussion whereas members stay silent or too shy to voice out their opinion. On the contrary, both parties tend to have more discussions with BQS as they are involved in costing. All in all, the project is still achievable with the blood, sweat and tears of all parties in collaboration. We even managed to get third place out of the 6 groups. My heartfelt thanks and blessed with the MLE Leaders for their contributions. Indeed, the whole experience is wholesome but somehow the virtual experience kinda hold back the collaboration part as I believed meeting face-to-face will bring more positive impact as we can really learn from different schools. Moreover, the number of members in a group should stay around 4 pax as it will be more easier to handle as the bigger the numbers, the productivity of the group will be relatively lesser and hard to control.
As the leader of BIA Group 6, I held the RESPONSIBILITY on my shoulders, succumbing with stress to handle the internal tasks among the members. I have encountered communication issues with my own members too as not everyone is highly active during internal discussions, thus costing a longer time to complete each assigned task. Nevertheless, I have learnt to be tolerant with a compassionate heart, at the same time be open minded by taking into account all the ideas provided by the members. The best thing that I have obtained throughout the MLE is friendships that uplifting one another. A special thanks to my tutor, Ms Norji for continuously supporting and guiding us throughout the Semester 4 journey, as well as the other lecturers, Ms Yasmin and Ms Fatimah.
Last but not least, I would strongly encourage and recommend juniors to take on the MLE challenge as it can definitely hone your skills in group work for self-improvement from peers influence. It is a golden opportunity to experience and gain insights from how the industry works in order to be mentally-prepared before heading to the internship. Just remember to be bold and be persistent to seek for your goals.
Most importantly, STAY TRUE TO YOURSELF.
