Fees: $265; $235 LSRPA Members The Site Remediation Reform Act and implementing regulations known as the Administrative Requirements for the Remediation of Contaminated Sites (ARRCS) have created a new regulatory framework for the site remediation process in New Jersey. Licensed Site Remediation Professionals (LSRPs) are now licensed as “agents of the NJDEP” to make critical decisions about protecting the public health and environment from adverse impacts posed by contaminated sites. As a result, this course has been developed to provide a “hands-on” practical approach for LSRPs, and other environmental professionals to learn about the new regulations and guidance specific to site remediation.

Review actual site remediation case histories Participate in breakout sessions to analyze the case histories As case histories are reviewed and processed you will identify: • Applicable forms, fees and submittal documents required to process the case • Applicable mandatory and regulatory timeframes • Applicable guidance and regulations, including discussion on the application of best professional judgement in making decisions on the course of action Interact with environmental professionals to share ideas as to how to move sites through the site remediation process Discussion on relying on past NFAs when making decisions on current cases Discussion on relevant technical hot topics Latest update on the status of the revisions to the various rules (ARRCS, Technical Requirements and UHOT), as well as update on the status of the various Guidance Documents
Instructors Representatives from NJ Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) and the Licensed Site Remediation Professional Association (LSRPA) will manage the class and also participate in the course.
