Thank you for taking the time to look at my wedding packages. I know I’m bias, but I believe that one of the most important things you can do when planning your wedding is deciding on a photographer. With so many options out there I am honoured that you have considered me to document your day. I hope this guide give you a small insight into how I like to approach a wedding and hopefully this will help you to decide if we would be a good fit for each other. I believe in doing so much more than simply showing up and taking pictures. I’m passionate about supporting you to plan a day that runs smoothly, is captured excellently and most of all is enjoyed througly. Your experience being photographed is almost as important as the resulting images themselves as the way you feel during this time will impact on how you remember your day, and how you view your images. During most of the day, I have a bit of a fly on the wall approach, and I’ll try to be as discreet as possible, although I’ll happily intervene or direct when appropriate! During the photoshoot I position you in beautifully lit environments and give direction. With the help of some easy and fun posing, you will totally forget you’re even being photographed ;) From there its all about capturing your connection and natural moments. This process, and the repport I build with my couples is one of the most important factors in creating beautiful and timeless images. ENGAGEMENT ENGAGEMENT SHOOT

This package includes a 1 hour engagement shoot with a minimum of 60 high resolution images delivered via online gallery as well as travel costs within 40 km of Hamilton. GUEST BOOK $400 The guest book is 8 x 12 inches and inclues 30 pages (15 spreads) of images from your engagement shoot combined with blank pages for guest signing and messages. My husband and I just loved our engagement shoot with Ruth. Alan was very uncomfortable with having his photo taken and was pretty unhappy with the whole idea, but Ruth made us feel so comfortable and by the end of it he was actually enjoying it! By the time the wedding came he was well aware what he needed to do! We love how she captured us as we are together but also what makes us so different from each other.
What if I hate having my photograph taken? When I am photographing documentary moments I will be as unobtrusive as possible so you barely notice my presence. During the photoshoot part of the day I will coach you with a number of tools, tips and tricks to ensure you look your very best. My goal is that you feel comfortable enough to forget I am there so that you fall into the presence of being together and bonding for a fun and memorable experience. Every Wedding is different. These FAQ might answer some of the big questions, but if you have any other questions, just ask! Can we meet before booking? Yes! I’ve always found it helpful to meet in person to tackle questions and answers. Let’s try for coffee if you’re in the Waikato Area. If that isn’t possible we can touch base via Skype or phone. What sort of support can we expect from you as our Photographer? I will keep in touch throughout your engagement period and support you with planning your wedding day with my knowledge from 10 + years of photographing weddings. Once you’ve booked I supply a wedding guide with detailed information on how to construct your timeline, family photo list, awesome vendors and heaps of other useful information….. I am always just a phone call or email away if you would like to touch base or run something by me! Do you have any client reviews? Definitely! Check out the reviews on my facebook page here or some other kind words from my past clients here. How many photos will we recieve and how are these delivered? This really does depend on the number of guests, activities throughout the day, and a variety of other factors. However, I will generally deliver 100 photographs per hour. So from 8 hours of photography coverage you would receive between 700- 900 photographs. These will be delivered via online gallery and a beautiful USB drive.

I can’t be in two places at once so the second photographer and I work together to get the most full coverage of the day for you. For example the second may shoot details and candids while I am doing the formal group photos. They also help with gathering groups, holding lights and gear, and all sorts of other jobs that come up on the day! What do you need from us? I have several questionares I will send you so I know what your priorities and how to ensure your day and photographs are a success. You are most welcome to choose your photo shoot locations, or if you are stuck for location ideas I am happy to help!

Your album will showcase a minimum of 80 images chosen by you that will be printed to the highest archival quality. You will recieve the book in a protective carry case to ensure your book is kept safe and lasts for generations. We knew if we didn’t purchase an album with our photography package we would never get our precious photos in print! We didn’t have the time or knowledge to create our own book so we were stoked to have Ruth take care of this for us. We chose our favourite images and Ruth designed the layouts then sent it all to print. Looking through our wedding book is almost as much of a higlight as the day itself! LUKE &
