the wonderful and iconic Fabergé

Fabergé, the world’s most iconic artist jeweller, creates extraordinary jewellery, timepieces and objets d’art, as well as bespoke commissions for a discerning international clientele. Founded in 1842, Fabergé has been the most revered name in jewellery ever since Peter Carl Fabergé became official goldsmith to the Russian Imperial Court; the house created exquisite jewels and objects, including the legendary series of lavish and ingenious Imperial Easter Eggs. Peter Carl Fabergé was renowned for his exquisite and artistic use of colour, making the most of each gemstone’s unique characteristics and developing a vibrant enamel palette. His worldwide reputation attracted royalty, nobility, tycoons, industrialists and the artistic intelligentsia of not only Paris, Moscow and London but also America and the Far East, becoming the ultimate gift purveyor. In 1917, the Russian Revolution brought an abrupt end to the Romanov dynasty, and to the House of Fabergé. The company was nationalised, all production closed down and Peter Carl Fabergé and his family fled Russia. Following its founder’s death in Switzerland, the Fabergé heirs lost the rights to the Fabergé name.

History came full circle in October 2007 when Fabergé, under new ownership and direction, announced the reunification of the Fabergé brand with the Fabergé family. This opened a new chapter in the intriguing story of Fabergé, and set the stage for a total revitalisation of the Fabergé name and philosophy, in tune with its original values, aesthetics and spirit. Today, Fabergé takes inspiration from its storied past to create eternally original pieces that, when worn, convey breath-taking individuality. By painting with the world’s finest coloured gemstones, Fabergé explores the art of colour through creations which are designed to become future heirlooms. Celebrating the concept of the artist-jeweller in today’s world of luxury, Fabergé traces the legacy of excellence in creativity, design and craftsmanship to introduce a new era of enchanting and enduring personal possessions and gifts for contemporary connoisseurs. Current collections are available at Fabergé boutiques in New York, London and Geneva, as well as at Harrods in London and other exclusive international retailers. Selected items are also available via Fabergé’s online boutique at Faberge.com.

Easy do-it-yourself Easter: Fun Easter projects for the whole family The Easter bunny is right around the corner, which means chocolate eggs, chick marshmallows and stuffed bunnies will soon be popping up around the home. Celebrate with a build-your-own Easter basket with the kids for some quality time for the entire family. DIY doesn’t mean it needs to be complicated or difficult. Here are a few great ideas with some easy shortcuts to make it an enjoyable experience for everyone. The basket It all starts with the basket. The egg hunt and basket fillings wouldn’t be complete without an Easter basket decked out in bright spring colors. It’s not easy to spend hours making your own Easter basket, but you can still make it your own with custom Easter baskets from Personal Creations. Pick out the size, color pattern and design, and add your kids’ names to make it a personalized basket that can be from the Easter Bunny himself. Best of all, it comes with a fluffy plush bunny and Easter sweets to make it a complete package for the entire family to enjoy. The eggs Colored eggs are an essential part of any Easter celebration. This year, add a fun and simple twist to the usual DIY egg coloring with a tissue paper egg dye. Simply wet the eggs, wrap it in brightly colored tissue paper, and

spray the eggs with water to ensure all of the paper has been wetted. Once the egg is dry, kids will be able to easily remove the tissue paper. Beneath, they’ll find a perfectly dyed egg that carries the appearance of stained glass. The sweets No Easter celebration is complete without treats to sweeten the basket. Marshmallow chicks and chocolate eggs are a classic, but adding a gourmet twist to the list of everyday sweets can make receiving this Easter basket an unforgettable experience for even the adults in the family. For an easy twist on the classic, ask kids to shred leftover bits of wrapping paper left around the house to make homemade Easter grass, and add it to a simple Easter treat pail. Then, fill the pail with Easter-themed cake pops from Shari’s Berries for a festive gourmet treat everyone can enjoy. The fluff Bunnies get all the attention during Easter, but little chicks can be an adorable alternative to add to the basket. For this simple craft, ask children to draw and color a picture of a chick. Make sure the chick is facing forward and not from a profile viewpoint. They do not need to draw the wings; those come later. When the little artists are finished, cut the chicks out. Next, help children trace

their own hands and cut these traces out. Glue the traced hands to the chick with the thumbs up, and just like that, the chick has wings with a familiar look. The grownup basket Grownups deserve some Easter fun too. Forego the basket filled with candy and design a fresh and colorful take on the Easter basket. Start with a classic wicker basket

with liner and add some fresh spring flowers to brighten up the look. Fresh flowers are a beautiful way to brighten anyone’s day, and fresh, vibrant flowers from ProFlowers make it easy to order and arrange flowers quickly and easily. Bright spring daffodils arranged in a pretty spread or 30 multi-colored tulips hanging loosely out of the basket is a great way to celebrate Easter in an upscale way.

Spring is just around the corner - time to start planning your warmweather wardrobe updates. To help you stay on top of the trends for spring 2016, the experts have plenty of advice to share. Lynne Riding, who is the fashion coordinator at The Art Institute of Charleston, a branch of The Art Institute of Atlanta, and Dr. Courtney A. Hammonds, who has the same role at The Art Institute of AtlantaDecatur, a branch of The Art Institute of Atlanta, offer some pointers. Q: What are the top five trends for spring 2016? A: “Look for clean, simple lines,” says Riding. “You’ll also see pleats, sheers and lace, and prints - both floral and graphic.” Hammonds agrees that pleats, especially knife pleats, will be big this spring. “Graphic prints are a major trend, using written words embroidered or printed across ready-to-wear garments,” he adds.

“We’ll also see accessories with metallic touches in gold and bronze this year.” Q: What are this spring’s top colors? A: Both experts agree that lilac and other pastels are the most important color story for spring. Greens, especially mint green, are also big. “Muted and sophisticated tones predominate, although brights are also seen, particularly when paired with metallic touches,” Hammonds says. Q: What one piece should everyone consider adding to her wardrobe to be on trend for spring? A: “A poplin dress shirt in white, lilac or mint green is a great spring/summer addition,” says Riding. “It could either be a long wrap shirt without buttons or a long shirt worn on the hips with a belt.” Hammonds recommends adding a modern accessory, such as a metallic bag or clutch, statement

eye frames, or even a metallic shoe that can go from day to night. Some other ideas to give your wardrobe the fashion edge this spring? Consider a longer skirt (midcalf or upper ankle length), wearing a classic shirt untucked with the bottom several buttons undone, or an accessory with fringe. And be sure to hang on to fashions with color blocking. Riding says this trend is continuing to be popular. Whatever you do, Hammonds advises, dare to be edgy and always be true to yourself and your personal style. Riding adds, “A trend only works if it works for you. Does it fit your style, your lifestyle, what’s flattering? For instance, if lilac is not your color, don’t add a lilac dress to your wardrobe. Instead, choose a flower print that includes lilac or wear a print skirt with lilac tones along with a crisp white shirt.”

Spring into the season: Great dishes and flavors to celebrate spring’s arrival Spring is here and we gladly shed heavy coats and boots. Meals, too, lighten up with warmer weather, as we leave behind hearty soups and heavier meals in favor of more sprightly and seasonal fare. Spring celebrations - from Easter brunches to graduation dinners - are great opportunities to revisit old favorites and try something new. This spring, why not celebrate the season with a blend of familiar and new? Here are some favorite flavors and foods of spring, along with some ideas for giving them new appeal: * With bright colors and strong, sweet flavor, citrus adds zing to spring. Lemon is ideal for incorporating into spring dishes, from enhancing veggies like early spring squash, to delightful desserts like Lemon PullAparts. Lemon also plays well with a variety of fish dishes - perfect for anyone observing fish Fridays during Lent. * Baked dinner rolls are a springtime favorite for every meal of the day. What Easter brunch would be complete without them? Dinner rolls take on fun seasonal flare when you use ready-made options like Rhodes Bake-N-Serv dinner rolls to create edible works of art like bunny shapes, egg baskets and rabbit-shaped veggie dip bowls. Simply thaw the raw rolls, and shape them while still cold to make a variety of delicious, creative shapes - without the work of

mixing and kneading your own dough. Try these two fun recipes to dress up any springtime table: Bunny Buns Ingredients: 1 package Rhodes Dinner Rolls (thawed but still cold) Directions: Cut a small piece of one roll for a tail. Roll remaining piece into a 16inch rope with pointed ends. Twist top of rope together. Place on a large baking sheet coated with cooking spray. Pull pointed ends apart for ears. Roll small cut-off piece into a ball for the tail. Using your finger, make an indentation at the spot for the tail. Moisten the tail with water and place in the indentation. Repeat to make as many bunnies as desired. Cover with sprayed plastic wrap and allow rolls to rise for 30 to 45 minutes. Remove the wrap and bake at 350 F for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown. Enjoy with butter. Veggie Rabbit Dip Bowl Serves 12. Prep time: 15 minutes (excluding thaw time). Bake time: 30 minutes. Ingredients: 2 loaves Rhodes Bread Dough, thawed but still cold 2 sliced almonds 2 large raisins 1 egg, beaten Directions: Cut one loaf of bread dough into 1/4 and 3/4 portions. Shape 3/4 portion

into egg shape for body and place on a large sprayed baking sheet. Shape 1/4 portion into pear shape and place above body for head. Clip side whiskers with scissors. Cut second loaf in half. Cut one half in half again for ears and roll into two 16-inch ropes. Fold together and place on top of head. With remaining half of loaf, divide dough in half. Take one half and cut into two pieces. Shape into two large thumper feet and place under bunny. Clip toes. Divide last piece of dough into 1/3 and 2/3 portions. Divide 2/3 portion into two hands and place on side of body and clip fingers. Divide remaining 1/3 dough into two large balls and one small ball. Place two large balls on face for cheeks and one small ball for nose. Place two raisins on face for eyes and two almonds for teeth. Brush everything with beaten egg, even the teeth. Cover with sprayed plastic wrap. Let rise 15 to 30 minutes. Remove wrap and bake at 350 F for 30 minutes or until browned. Let cool. Hollow out tummy and fill with your favorite dip. * Spring brings the arrival of one of the most delectable edible buds - artichokes. Add them to pasta salads or green salads for flavorful pizzazz. In addition to being delicious and timely for spring, artichokes are packed with antioxidants and fiber, and are believed to deliver a host of

health benefits, including improved digestion and lower cholesterol. * Peas are the quintessential green veggie of spring. Low in calories and high in vitamin A, peas are a go-anywhere ingredient. Raw peas add color and snap to spring salads. A handful tossed into warm pasta dishes add a layer of flavor and enhance nutritional value. Cream them as a base for a cold soup or a sauce to enhance fish. * Nutritionists advise Americans to eat a colorful range of fruits and vegetables, and for sheer bright color and great flavor it’s hard to beat strawberries. They also deliver a wealth of health benefits since they’re packed with key nutrients like potassium, magnesium and vitamin K - all important for overall good health. Eat them sliced and sprinkled with an alternative sweetener for a simple, low-calorie treat, or try something new and original like strawberry bruschetta.

Renew your look for spring with simple expert style tricks

Spring is the perfect time to renew your look and embrace the easy-breezy feeling of the season. Fortunately, you don’t need to spend hours at the salon or break the bank updating your look. A few expert tips will have you looking as radiant as the spring sunshine so you can turn heads no matter where you go. Expert stylists Teni Panosian and Christine Symonds have created a complete makeup and hair look that is easy to achieve at home with the right tools. “This spring is all about beautiful skin with small pops of color,” says Panosian, YouTube beauty sensation and the voice behind MissMaven. com. “ Beautifully fresh makeup Step 1: Prep your skin with your favorite moisturizer or primer. Then apply a light foundation or BB cream in small circular motions using your brush for an airbrushed effect. Step 2. Apply concealer under the eyes beginning at the inner corner and extending to the outer corner, as well as along the side of your nose. Then, blend out the concealer to create a brightened under-eye area. Step 3. For breakouts or dark spots, dab concealer and use a small stippling motion to blend it out. Then, set it by applying a translucent powder under your eyes and to your T-zone. Step 4. Add warmth by applying bronzer along the hollows of your cheeks, hairline and jawline, and add a pop of pink blush to your cheeks.

Finish the face by adding your favorite highlight powder to the high points of your cheekbones. Step 5. Swipe a peach shadow across your lids up to the crease. Use a blending brush to begin working purple eyeshadow into the outer half of the crease and blend down to the outer corners of the lids. Then, apply a dark brown shadow just at the outer corners of the lids for a little definition. Step 6. Finish with a couple of coats of mascara on the top and bottom lids and a sheer pink gloss on lips. “Complement your new makeup look with soft, effortlessly chic hair,” says celebrity hairstylist Symonds,

who regularly styles red-carpet beauties such as Kaley Cuoco-, Kristen Bell and Ali Larter. “The halfup half-down braided style that I’ve put together has great texture and keeps your hair out of your face on those sunny spring days.” Beautifully fresh hair Step 1: Start by partially blow drying wet hair to remove moisture. Step 2: Finish blow drying with a full round brush, focusing mainly on the ends to create movement. Try a hair brush with cruelty-free synthetic boar hair bristles to create tons of shine. Step 3: Gather the top section of hair and clip it out of the way. Leave

enough hair on each side of the head above the ears to create two small braids. Secure them with an elastic band. Step 4: Drop the top section you previously clipped up and gather all the hair into a low ponytail, leaving out the two side braids. Then bring the two braids together in the back of the head and secure tightly with another small elastic band. Step 5: Undo the low ponytail and the two elastics around the ends of the two small braids (not the one that just secured the braids together). Then pull lightly at the roots of the pulled-back hair on the top of the head to create texture.

Make Your Ham Brunch Shine This Spring

It’s time to shed those winter layers and enjoy the warmth and brightness of the spring season. And what’s the best way to do this, you might ask? Why not give your spring occasions a taste of their own goodness by hosting a memorable, seasonally inspired brunch celebration. The Ham Tradition No spring brunch is complete without a beautiful ham as the centerpiece. But how did this tradition come to be? Prior to modern refrigeration and all its conveniences, ham was cured during the cold winter months. This made spring the most-opportune time for folks to enjoy this delicious, much-anticipated treat. Servings Made Simple No matter what the occasion may be, you can easily transform it into something special with a mouthwatering ham centerpiece. Rule of thumb: plan on about 1/3-1/2 of a pound of ham for each guest. Of course, if you’re planning to enjoy leftovers, you might consider purchasing a slightly larger ham. Here’s a useful guide to follow, courtesy of The Honey Baked Ham Company: • 4 people – 1.8 pounds • 8 people – 3.6 pounds • 12 people – 5.4 pounds • 16 people – 7.2 pounds

Tip: Try serving your ham either family or buffet-style, allowing guests to pick and choose their slices to help reduce the wasting of food. Table in Bloom The easiest way to enhance your brunch setting is with a floral touch. Even a single bouquet of your favorite spring flowers (think hyacinths, daffodils or tulips) can add eyecatching flair to an otherwise ordinary tablescape. Sides in Season Spring brings with it a host of seasonal veggies just begging to be featured in your brunch spread. Consider preparing something that adds a dash of garden freshness, 1 tablespoon butter such as this Asparagus Tart, to the 1 shallot, finely chopped overall feast. 1 bunch (about 1 pound) Effortless Entertaining trimmed asparagus, cut into 1-inch There’s no need to labor all morning pieces to make your occasion feel special. 1 sheet puff pastry dough Places such as HoneyBaked make it 1/2 pound goat cheese easy to serve delicious, quality dishes 2 tablespoons sliced sundried that also leave you plenty of time to tomatoes, packed in oil spare. And back by popular demand 3/4 cup diced Honey Baked Ham this spring, they are serving up their salt and freshly ground black ham and cheese quiche featuring pepper, to taste slightly sweet crust (at participating 1 egg, yolk only locations for a limited time only). 1/2 teaspoon water For more ideas on making the best Heat oven to 450 F. spring brunch yet, visit honeybaked. In medium frying pan, saute butter com. and shallot over medium-high heat Asparagus Tart for about 1 minute. Serves: 4 Add asparagus to pan and cook

until tender, about 5 minutes. Set aside pan containing shallots and asparagus. Open puff pastry dough and, on lightly floured parchment, roll dough into rectangular shape, approximately 10-by-16 inches. Transfer and pat pastry dough onto baking sheet, leaving 1-inch border. Layer with goat cheese. On top of cheese, sprinkle shallots and asparagus, tomatoes, ham and salt and pepper, to taste. Brush edge of pastry with egg yolk mixed with water. Bake 20-25 minutes, until pastry is golden brown and puffy. Let cool slightly and serve.

Planning the perfect Easter egg hunt From the White House lawn to the family living room, children of all ages will soon be searching behind bushes and couches to find that last treasured egg. If you don’t have an Easter egg hunt to attend in your community this year, consider planning your own and inviting all the neighbors to participate. Here are some tips for planning the perfect Easter egg hunt: Find out what kids want Kids each have their favorite items they’re hoping they’ll find in their baskets. To deliver the best gifts from the Easter Bunny, you have to think like the kids. See what kids think about the Easter Bunny and the goodies he’s going to bring this year in this adorable video by Personal Creations. Pick the right eggs Load up on eggs of all shapes and sizes. Plastic eggs are the best for hiding, because if an egg isn’t found, it won’t spoil and cause a mess later. Plastic eggs are very colorful, making them easier to spot by both little children and older kids alike. If you’re inviting a lot of younger children to the egg hunt, consider placing several eggs in a soft Easter basket like the Large Plush Bunny Basket and placing it under a tree to make it faster and easier for kids to find. Invite the Easter Bunny Rent an Easter Bunny costume and ask someone to wear it to welcome guests of all sizes to your Easter egg hunt. Ask someone else to be a digital photographer who can email your guests photos taken of their kids posing with the Easter bunny - parents will appreciate the opportunity to have their kids take a picture with the Easter Bunny without having to make a special visit to the local mall. Hang a personalized Egg Hunt Banner

in the yard and decorate the area with streamers and balloons to give your backyard a festive feel. Prepare for rain April showers aren’t outside of the scope of possibilities, so prepare for a rainy day situation. You don’t want a handful of disappointed children at the party. Utilize furniture and the garage to hide eggs throughout the house. Prepare a map of the house and how many eggs are in each room so kids who aren’t familiar with the layout of the home can still find their fair share of hidden eggs. Consider treats that aren’t candy Don’t limit your Easter party treats to just

sweets. Stuffed bunnies make the perfect companion for young kids, and are a great gift to hide along with the eggs. Parents will appreciate that there are options to take home other than candy, and kids will have something to keep for years to come. To give it that extra special touch, personalize a stuffed animal with each kid’s name at www.PersonalCreations.com. With these tips, you’ll have a successful Easter egg hunt that your friends and neighbors - and their children - will be talking about for weeks to come.

Get smart about buying insurance

For most Americans, insurance coverage is a necessity. While coverage can be confusing and expensive to obtain, its solace is undeniable in the event of a car crash, emergency surgery or if your home has been damaged in a storm. From home and health to auto, life, disability and more, it’s important to be smart about how you buy coverage to limit costs, purchase the right coverage and avoid redundancies. The best place to start is on your state’s official government website, says FindLaw.com, the nation’s leading website for free legal information. There you will find a list of licensed insurers so you can be assured that you’re dealing with a legitimate company. “Work with a reputable insurance agent who represents a financially sound, highly-rated company,” advises Ed Susolik, an attorney who specializes in insurance law at Callahan & Blaine in Santa Ana, Calif. “As is often the case, you get what you pay for. You don’t want to add to a tragedy by discovering that you’re underinsured or that the policy you’ve purchased from a little-known company is fraught with loopholes.” Here are some additional tips

from FindLaw.com on purchasing insurance coverage: Follow the law. Check the laws of your state. You may be required to carry certain types of insurance, such as liability insurance to operate a car, motorcycle or boat. This also applies on the federal level, for example, with the passage of the Affordable Care Act, all Americans are required to carry health insurance. Read your policy. Many Americans don’t read their insurance policies and hastily sign contracts without considering the implications. For example, if your health insurance covers 90 percent of all medical bills and you require significant medical attention, the 10 percent for which you’re responsible could add up. If you have trouble understanding what a policy proposal covers, don’t hesitate to slow down and ask your agent for clarification or get a quote from a different company. Remember: you’re buying insurance to ease, and not trouble, your state of mind. Plan for major milestones. Major events will trigger the need to purchase insurance or increase your existing coverage. With the birth of a first child, parents should consider purchasing term life insurance. It

offers a benefit to a spouse and child to cover living expenses if one parent dies before the child reaches adulthood. Inspect your home insurance. Carefully review your home insurance policy. Are you insured for your home’s market value or replacement value? The replacement value is the cost of rebuilding your house, while the market value is based on an appraisal of its value in relationship to surrounding homes. Your agent should be willing to work with you to sculpt the policy that meets your needs. Consider flood insurance. Standard homeowners insurance typically does not include flood insurance. First, determine the level of risk for flooding in your area. There are a few options online, including the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s website (www.fema.gov), where you can search your address and assess flooding risk. Your insurance agent also should have access to this information and can explore your options with you. Add an umbrella policy. It’s not a bad idea to purchase an umbrella liability policy to provide additional coverage above and beyond your

homeowner’s insurance. This helps in situations where you could be at fault for accidents, such as your dog biting a mail carrier or a tree in your yard falling onto a neighbor’s car. Research renter’s insurance. Apartments can be burglarized or damaged like any other property. If you rent, consider purchasing renter’s insurance to cover assets such as computers, furniture and other significant items. Inventory your belongings. Take photos or videos, with audio descriptions, of your property so you and the insurance company have an accurate record of your belongings in the event of a fire or other accident. Capture your home, prized possessions and high-value items such as cars, boats, jewelry and collections. Store the files on a portable hard drive in a secure and safe location, such as a safe deposit box.

Culinary Extravaganza raises $300,000 for Two Local Charities Photos by Tony Lattimore A crowd of 300 converged at the Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort and Spa in Dana Point to feast at the “Table for 10” annual culinary spectacular orchestrated by KM Productions for deserving non-profts. The evening presented a festive cocktail reception, silent and live auction and of course a banquet for each of the 10 guests seated at the individual restaurants represented. The affair continues to attract gourmet food and fine wine lovers from throughout Southern California for a culinary experience second to none. The evening started with a festive cocktail reception, where guests enjoyed libations and hors d’oeuvres from Manassero Farms, represented by Anne Manassero and Pascal Olhats of Pascal and Café Jardin. Mixed Bakery’s pastry and candy selections delighted, as did the chocolate-covered toffee from Addington Confections, among the many delectable sponsor offerings. When the ballroom doors opened to beautifully decorated tables from the over 30 participating restaurants - each having their own individual gourmet food and wine experience, it was quite overwhelming! I was seated at the Tustin Ranch Golf Club Restaurant which had Chef Bert Agor and his team creating the ultimate tropical island affair. Our taste buds were then enlightened with five courses, all having the appropriate adult libation complementing it. Starting off with a blackened Opah Croquette with gourmet pub flavors pickled onions (which we all received as a gift to take home) with roasted pepper jam, olives, cheeses, and mustard’s – we were able to create our own flavorful croquette. Next came the garden fresh melons wrapped in Prosciutto De Parma and modern gastronomy jellies, then we enjoyed cold, smoked Rainbow trout served with black squid ink pasta, caviar and crushed potatoes. Live Main Lobster that was butter poached with crushed San Marzano tomatoes, main dish of Colorado Rack of Lamb in fresh herbs with creamy smoked Gouda grits, roasted beets and goat cheese. Dessert was Chef Sara’s orchestra of amazing tastings of Raspberry mousse jaconde, Hazelnut chocolate dacquoise, French Macaroons, and Red Delicious apple Rose. Chef Agor also told unique stories about the dish and why he created it. It was a magical evening of fabulous food indeed. The live auction, led by gavel girl Dawn Marie Kotsonis, featured overthe-top “Best of Chefs” dining experiences, as well as travels to exotic locations around the globe. Some of the items up for bid went twice like the St. Mary’s Antigua Escape for seven nights, going for $4500 each and a Montana Winter Escape for five days in a 2300 square foot cabin that went for $3,000 (twice!). The two “Best of the Chefs Packages” included meals or cooking at your home from the listed local high end restaurants listed which brought in $9,000. Along with auction monies raised, dinner costs were absorbed by the restaurants and chefs, with special underwriting from event sponsors and a Fund-A-Need auction, making it possible to give $300,000 to the two deserving charities featured - The Teen Project and Vocational Visions. Among those attending who were integral to its success were The Teen Project Founder Lauri Burns and Vocational Visions Executive Director Joan McKinney, as well as table sponsors, including Susan Samueli, from UCI’s Center for Integrative Medicine, Lindsey Ueberroth, President/CEO of Preferred Hotels and Resorts, Mike Danzi, CEO of Legacy Pharmaceuticals International, Ed Lee, co-founder of Wahoo Fish Tacos, and many more. The Venue Host Chefs were Salvatore Giuliano and Greg Heneghan, Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort and Spa; Event Chef Chair was Pascal Olhats, Pascal, Café Jardin; and Honorary Chefs included Ben Martinek, The Loft, Montage Laguna Beach and Yvon Goetz, The Winery Restaurant and Wine Bar. Vocational Visions’ programs, services and personalized support develops the talents of adults with disabilities by creating pathways to employment, life-long learning and social inclusion. The Teen Project provides teens aging out of the foster care system the resources and support of an intact family in order to allow them to successfully transition to adulthood. According to reliable sources such as the U.S. census bureau the area served by the Newport News is one of Orange County’s highest income groups. These affluent nearby homeowners in Newport Beach, Balboa, Corona del Mar, and Newport Coast have more money to spend and the time to spend it. Make sure that these readers are aware of your company and what you do by keeping a regular, affordable advertising message in the newspaper that all of them read every week 2.Why pay more to reach your most preferred customers? Smart business owners and marketing experts agree that the most expensive advertising is advertising that doesn’t work. Savvy business managers are wise to be concerned about high volume publications that don’t deliver a strong local audience that would bring you customers. Major daily newspapers like the Times and the Register reach nearly a million readers, but do you really need to pay their high prices to reach your customers in Newport News? While some glossy monthly magazines are stylish, their costly rates may not be realistic compared to choosing a highly effective newspaper like the Newport News which is received by your most likely preferred customers of high income homeowners with advertising that costs you far less money. The Newport News is attractive, effective and affordable. 3. Why do Newport News Readers read the Newport News? Since 1907 The Newport News has been the favorite weekly publication of Newport Beach. On July 15, 1997, the Superior Court of Orange County adjudicated

(approved) The Newport News as the official newspaper for The City of Newport Beach and the County or Orange. If you don’t know her already, get to know Kelly Bennett, the top society columnist in Orange County. She also has the top rated radio show and television program “Breakfast with Gary and Kelly. Readers eagerly await her weekly column in the Newport News which features major charity events where the beautiful people

of Orange County gather for fashionable luncheons and dinners which regularly raise millions of dollars for worthy causes. Permit us to say that placing your advertising where it is seen by people who can afford to give away millions is the best advertising purchase you will ever make. Read Kelly Bennett’s “Society Scene “column every week in the Newport News and see why. 6. Free Online Advertising Newport News Version each week. While many people still prefer to have a hard copy of the Newport News to hold in their hand, our online version is equally popular for those who want to access our entire newspaper on their smartphone, tablet or computer. Your regular ad will appear in our online edition at no extra charge. Just click on the Thenewportnews.com. 7. How Fast Will this Home be sold? We’d like to share some actual quotes from local Newport News area realtors: BUYERS CAME IN WAVING the ad that appeared in the Newport News.” Two factors determine how fast a house will sell: 1.Choose a skilled real estate professional 2. Advertise it in the Newport News Whether you are selling homes or other desirable goods or services you should consider the Newport News for your advertising.
