ENVIRONMENTAL NATURE CENTER OFFERS OUTDOOR OPTION FOR KIDS THIS SUMMER Children have fun and make friends while learning about nature in an outdoor, hands-on setting. On June 27, 2016, the Environmental Nature Center (ENC) will begin its 39th year of Summer Nature Camp for children entering Kindergarten through 6th grade. Camp will be held Monday through Thursday, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with ½ day camps available from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. For more information please visit encenter.org “Summer is my favorite time of year,” said ENC Camp Director Lori Whalen. “Watching our campers learn while having a great time is priceless. Young children’s minds are stimulated by nearly everything around them, so the more diverse and engaging their surroundings, the more their minds learn and grow. I get to see a lot of growth in a lot of kids each Summer!” Since 1977, the ENC’s Nature Camp has provided quality science education in an outdoor, hands-on setting. This year’s Summer Nature Camp is divided into eight week-long sessions where campers will spend most of their time outside observing nature up close using tools like
binoculars, magnifying lenses and microscopes. Weekly themes include Nature Detectives, Weird Science, Amazing Animals, Journey Through Time, Outdoor Explorers, Nature Play, Outdoor Creativity and Tail Tales, in which camp teachers align their daily activities with children’s literature. “Outdoor environments are important to children’s development of independence and autonomy,” said ENC Executive Director Bo Glover. “Children’s stress levels fall within minutes of seeing green spaces. Play protects children’s emotional development whereas loss of free time and a hurried lifestyle can contribute to anxiety.” About the ENC Founded in 1972, the ENC is a fascinating combination of 15 California native plant communities, wildlife habitat, walking trails, and sustainably designed, LEED Platinum certified learning center. For over 40 years, the ENC has been shaped and caressed into a 5-acre landscape for learning, a sanctuary from life’s pressures and a place of preservation and instruction. Serving over 22,000
students and thousands of visitors annually, the ENC is recognized as a leader in science and social science education providing opportunities for increasing our community’s knowledge, understanding and appreciation of the natural world. The ENC recently purchased property to develop a nature play area, and construct our community’s first nature based preschool. With a mission of providing quality education through hands-on experience
with nature, the ENC inspires all generations to protect the natural world by serving as our community’s foremost authority on ecological responsibility, sustainable practices and environmental education. The ENC is a non-profit 501(c)-3 public benefit corporation. For more information call 949-645-8489, or visit www.ENCenter.org. The ENC is located at 1601 16th St. in Newport Beach.

Top Memorial Day Recipes Start the Summer Right with these Great Recipes By Derrick Riches It’s called the unofficial start of summer and this Memorial Day gives you the opportunity to break out the grill or smoker to start the summer right. These recipes were the most popular for Memorial Day last year and they are a great start to your summer barbecue season.
Kansas City Rib Rub In Kansas City they know BBQ ribs. This is the barbecue rub recipe for traditional Kansas City-Style Ribs. Finish these ribs off with a good barbecue sauce and you’ll have a fantastic meal. Prep Time: 10 minutes Total Time: 10 minutes Yield: Makes a little more than 1 cup Ingredients: 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/4 cup paprika 1 tablespoon black pepper 1 tablespoon salt 1 tablespoon chili powder 1 tablespoon garlic powder 1 tablespoon onion powder 1 teaspoon cayenne Preparation: Combine all ingredients together and transfer to an air tight container. Maybe stored up to six months.
Fresh Corn on the Cob This is the general method for grilling corn on the cob. Remember not to remove the husks, they will hold in the moisture and keep the corn from burning. You might want to pull out as much silk as you can before hand Prep Time: 30 minutes Cook Time: 15 minutes Total Time: 45 minutes Ingredients: corn on the cob, husks intact Page 4
butter herbs Preparation: DO NOT REMOVE HUSKS. Do remove the silk. Soak in water for at least 15 to 20 minutes. Remove from water and pull down husks carefully -- DO NOT REMOVE -- and coat with herbal butter (made from adding your favorite fresh herbs to softened butter). Put the husks back up covering the corn and tie with a thin piece of husk at the top. Place on grill for about 15 minutes, turning.
BBQ Beef Ribs This is an easy way to prepare delicious, sticky beef ribs on your grill. Remember that the secret to indirect grilling is to make sure that the food doesn’t get any direct heat at all. You will need to rotate the ribs occasionally to evenly cook them. Prep Time: 20 minutes Cook Time: 3 hours, 30 minutes Total Time: 3 hours, 50 minutes Yield: Serves 4 Ingredients: 4 to 5 pounds beef back ribs (about 10 ribs) 1/2 cup ketchup 1/2 cup honey 1 4 ounce can green chilies, diced 1 large onion, chopped 4 cloves garlic, minced 1 teaspoon cayenne 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon black pepper 1 teaspoon dry mustard Preparation: Trim excess fat from beef ribs. Combine salt, pepper and cayenne. Rub over the ribs. Preheat grill and prepare for indirect grilling with a drip pan. Place ribs on grill over drip pan and close the lid. Cook for about 3 to 3 1/2 hours over a medium low, indirect heat (try to keep the temperature under 265 degrees F.). To prepare sauce combine onion, honey, ketchup, chili peppers, garlic and mustard in a sauce pan. Heat over a low temperature, stirring until even and warm. When the ribs are nearly finished begin brushing the sauce on them until you get a thick

coating. B i g D a dd y ’ s C a r o l i n a S t y l e Barbecue Sauce Big Daddy says, “This is Carolina style barbecue sauce.” This means that it is vinegar and mustard based, as opposed to the ketchup and molasses based sauces of the mid and southwest. The combination of sweet and tangy flavors brings out the absolute best in grilled or smoked pork or chicken. Prep Time: 10 minutes Cook Time: 30 minutes Total Time: 40 minutes Yield: Makes about 2 1/4 cups Ingredients: 1 cup prepared yellow mustard 1/2 cup sugar 1/4 cup light brown sugar 3/4 cup cider vinegar 1/4 cup water 2 tablespoons chili powder 1 teaspoon black pepper 1 teaspoon white pepper 1/4 teaspoon cayenne 1/2 teaspoon soy sauce 2 tablespoons butter 1 tablespoon liquid smoke (hickory flavoring) Preparation: Mix all except soy, butter and smoke. Simmer 30 minutes. Stir in remaining ingredients and simmer for 10 more minutes. Grilled Sweet Potatoes It doesn’t take a lot to make delicious sweet potatoes. These grilled sweet potato slices get a quick blanch in hot water and then hit the grill to cook up hot and fast. Best part is that most of the preparation can be done in advance. Prep Time: 15 minutes Cook Time: 10 minutes Total Time: 25 minutes Yield: Serves 4 to 6 Ingredients: 4 medium sweet potatoes 1/2 cup melted butter 3 tablespoons brown sugar 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon Preparation: Cup sweet potatoes into 3/4 inch slices. Bring 3 quarts of water to a boil and add potatoes. Boil until potatoes are just starting to soften. Cool and peal. Combine butter, brown sugar and cinnamon, brush over potatoes. Place Potato slices on preheated grill over a medium low heat and cook
for about 10 to 15 minutes, turning once. When the sweet potatoes as soft through the middle and browned on the surface they are ready. A Carolina BBQ Rub Chuck Ozburn sent me this fantastic, classic-style Carolina barbecue rub recipe. Try this rub next time you want to make a traditional Carolina Pulled Pork. Prep Time: 10 minutes Total Time: 10 minutes Yield: Makes about 1 cup Ingredients: 2 tablespoons salt 2 tablespoons sugar 2 tablespoons brown sugar 2 tablespoons ground cumin 2 tablespoons chili powder 2 tablespoons freshly ground black pepper 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper 1/4 cup paprika Preparation: Combine all ingredients in a small bowl and mix well; use as a dry rub
on beef, chicken, lamb or pork. Grilled Tri-Tip Roast This simple beef tri-tip roast is perfect for many uses. Grill it up, low and slow, and serve it as it is, or cut it up for fajitas, tacos, enchiladas or anything else that calls for a flavorful meat. Prep Time: 15 minutes Cook Time: 1 hour Total Time: 1 hour, 15 minutes Yield: Serves 4 Ingredients: 2 pounds tri-tip roast 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1 teaspoon onion powder 1 teaspoon ground black pepper 1 teaspoon salt Preparation: Lightly oil the cooking grate on your grill. Preheat grill and prepare for indirect grilling. Combine garlic powder, onion powder, pepper and salt. Rub it over the surface of the tritip roast. Place tri-tip on grill, fat side up. You can place a drip pan under it to catch the drips which will make a great gravy later. With the grill on low cook for about 1 hours or until it reaches your desires doneness.

By Patti Winters The United States has a rich history, and Memorial Day is one of the holidays originated to show our respect for those who have died for it and the many freedoms we enjoy on a daily basis. Memorial Day (originally called Decoration Day) was officially proclaimed in 1868 by General John Logan, and first observed on May 30, 1868 by placing flowers on graves of Civil War soldiers at Arlington National Cemetery. Since 1971, Memorial Day has been celebrated on the last Monday of May, to allow for a three day Memorial Day Weekend. Discuss American history with your family. We get so busy with our day to day lives that we often forget to slow
down and really think about the reason our national holidays were started. It is important to discuss the pride we have in our country and how we appreciate those that came before us, especially with our children. Buy a poppy from the VFW. Beginning in 1922 the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) took a Dutch and French tradition and began to sell poppies nationally, to raise money for veterans in need. Today these poppies are made my disabled veterans and sold each Memorial Day Weekend. Participate in the “National Moment of Remembrance”, which was started in 2000. This is a resolution asks American citizens to stop anything they may be doing at 3 p.m. local time, and ob-
serve a moment of silence. Show respect for fallen war veterans. Visit cemeteries or war memorials to show your respect. Lay flowers or place flags as a remembrance to what the war veteran has given for his or her country. Many cemeteries have fallen war veterans whose family no longer lives close by. You can “adopt” these grave sites to show that their service has not been forgotten. Spend quality time with your family and enjoy (and appreciate) the freedom that others have given their lives for. Most cities will have parades and other celebrations. If there isn’t a formal activity that you’re interested in, think of having a picnic or get together with family and friends.
I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones. ~Albert Einstein

Successful Launch for the Blenheim EquiSports C hip I n F or C harit y P ro g ram
Lane Clarke and Balu U clearing the Uryadi’s Village jump. Photos by: McCool There was a lot to celebrate as Blenheim EquiSports wrapped up the Spring Series in San Juan Capistrano. Along with congratulating all the award winners, Blenheim was pleased to launch the new Chip In For Charity program, where every blue ribbon class winner received a “chip” that could be used to donate to one of four charities. Truly excited for the opportunity to give back to worthy causes, the horse show community responded with exuberance. Uryadi’s Village, an organization that works to support vulnerable children and their families, is one of the program’s recipients. “What an amazing opportunity the Chip in For Charity program offers
us,” explained Jennifer Crooks, Executive Director of Uryadi’s Village. “We not only raised funds, we raised awareness! People whom I may never have been in contact with generously donated.” Crooks was impressed with the support from show management as well. “Blenheim also invited us to do some innovative fundraising. In the grand prix, we had ‘Jump for the Village’ - every time a rider cleared the Uryadi’s Village jump, people could offer a donation amount. We also had a silent auction,” she explained. “Overall, we raised almost $20,000. To top it off, a donor sponsored a hut in the village for an additional $20,000. We’re looking forward to the rest of the show season!”
The Uryadi’s Village booth at the Spring Series
Currently in Ethiopia at Uryadi’s Village, Crooks is putting those donations to work. Thrive Animal Rescue, another of the four charities, will be at this week’s Showpark Ranch & Coast Classic, with dogs available for adoption. Giving back can be rewarding with a new furry friend. Chip In For Charity raised almost $3,000 during the Spring Series. For more details on the Chip In For Charity program, please visit the show office or showpark.com. #ChipInForCharity #ThePlaceToBe Uryadi’s Village: Founded by Jennifer Crooks, Uryadi’s Village is a non-profit organization whose mission is to support vulnerable children and their extended families around the globe by developing social, economic and environmentally renewable systems with orphans, vulnerable women and children where the need is greatest. Their current focus is in Ethopia, Africa which has five million orphans, more than any other country in the world. Thrive Animal Rescue: An adoption organization founded by Cece Bloum, Thrive’s mission is to save abandoned dogs from the loneliness of shelter life and place them into loving families and forever homes. As an entirely donation-based, nonprofit with 501c3 status, Thrive relies on the generosity of the dog-loving community of Southern California for their continued success and ability to make a difference for animals in need. Park Place Foundation: Park Place Foundation, based in Southern California, was formed to promote
and embrace a healthy lifestyle for children and teens as they embark into their journey toward adulthood. The Foundation strives to make changes in how society perceives and treats addiction and mental illness through education, increased awareness and sharing the personal stories of peers. The Scarlett’s Jumper Derby, held in San Juan Capistrano by Blenheim EquiSports, is one of the area events that benefits the Park Place Foundation. Now in its third year, Scarlett’s Derby brings attention to some of the stories behind the Foundation’s mission. Memorial Day Table Setting Ideas
Memorial Day is great time to celebrate and have fun! We often gather for and plan parties, lunches, events or dinners on this wonderful occasion. It is nice to present our food and drinks on a wonderfully decorated table. If you are hosting such an event, here are some great tips for decorating your table on Memorial Day! My first and favorite choice is the red, white and blue table setting. This is a pretty and colorful way to show your Memorial Day spirit! This table setting idea has many variations that you can choose from! You can use a red table cloth, blue table cloth or white table cloth for this table setting. My favorite is the red table cloth. It does not show spills and stands out. I like to use white plates. If it is an informal gathering or party, white paper plates can be used, though I recommend the plastic plates or sturdiest plates you can find. This will make your guests more comfortable and they will be less likely to spill their plate. Use white napkins. This can be paper napkins or cloth ones. Serve the beverages in blue cups. They can be blue plastic cups or blue glasses. The effect of the white plates, white napkins and blue cups look very nice on a red tablecloth. Add a beautiful
basket or vase of red, white and blue carnations in the center of the table. I like to use silk flowers. If you like, you can use real red and white carnations. For an added touch, place small flags in the vase or basket, among the flowers! If you decide to use a blue table cloth, use red or white plates, white napkins and blue or red plastic cups or clear cups or clear glasses. If you use a white table cloth, red plates, white napkins and blue cups or glasses look wonderful. For silverware, any type can go with this idea, even white plastic. This Memorial Day table setting is easy to set up and very affordable. It looks great! For a Spring like look that is festive and very pretty, use a flowered table cloth. For plates, the color choice is white, napkins can be white and the beverages can be served in clear plastic cups or clear glasses. Use silverware or white plastic ware. A large vase of all different types and colors of flowers look great in the center of this table setting. You can also just use white carnations in a basket. This table setting is colorful, attractive and very easy to do. It is very nice and makes a great Memorial Day table setting, if you do not wish to use the red, white and blue color theme. For an outdoor gathering, a red
and white checkered table cloth looks very festive with white plates, white napkins, white plastic ware and red or blue cups or glasses. My preference is using red cups or glasses. I like keeping to the red and white theme on this idea. It looks fancy, yet simple. I add a basket or vase of red and white carnations to the center of the table and it gives the table setting a fun and fancy look. This Memorial Day table setting is sure to please! Depending on how much money you want to spend, you can find many Memorial Day themed table cloths to buy. Some are flag themed and some are red, white and blue checkers, stripes or a mix. If you use these, use white napkins, white plates, white plastic ware or silverware, and blue cups or blue glasses. Place a basket or vase of white carnations in the
center of the table. You can also place small flags in the flower arrangement. This table setting idea is creative and looks great! These Memorial Day table setting ideas are sure to make your holiday table look special. They are very easy to do and cost very little. Your table will look beautiful, festive and fun!

“Carly and the CHOCO Factory” - CHOC Follies Raises Nearly $700,000 for CHOC Children’s Photos by: Carla Rhea, Peggy O’Donnell and Travis Compton A mysterious and magical chocolate factory set the stage for the CHOC Follies XIX’s original production of the “Carly and the CHOCO Factory, An Orange County Musical of Sweethearts, Swindlers and Swashbucklers” as more than 2400 people enjoyed the three days of performances while raising nearly $700,000 for CHOC Children’s. With a dream and an idea, Gloria Zigner founded the fundraiser 19 years ago and looking at the numbers, more than 1500 cast members (me being one of them!) have entertained folks with 75 performances which has netted over $8 million for CHOC. Not bad for Orange County’s professional and business folks who have some theater in them! This year’s productions showcased the talents of 88 of Orange County’s prominent business and civic leaders who took to the stage while the audience members cheered them on. Some actually jumped up from their seats and danced during several musical numbers in the production. Carly and the Choco Factory!” showed a loving spoof of the classic “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”. Featuring a sweet, single Orange County girl, Carly (played by Samantha Meyers), lives with her large family and dreams of visiting the magical factory where CHOCO, the mascot of CHOC Children’s Hospital resides. In the CHOCO factory on Catalina Island, dreams turn into realities, if only for the time you visit. The factory is run by none other than Millie Zonka (played by Diane Marshall), who secretly guards the magic that transforms the dreams. For the first time ever, seven lucky winners will receive a special ticket to visit the factory! Through song and dance, led by the factory’s “Mova Groovas,” you journey through this special place with Carly and a motley mixture of other winners. But look out for complications, for a band of crazy pirates blown in on the winds of El Nino arrive to bring zany complications to the proceedings! “I want to thank our dedicated and loyal sponsors for supporting the CHOC Follies for so many years,” said Executive Producer Gloria Zigner. “and I am deeply grateful for the amazing contributions of our co-producer, Lois Augustine; our co-chairs, Sandy Segerstrom Daniels, Dale Skiles and SueAnn Cross; and our wonderful artistic team of all 19 years, director John Vaughan; music director Doug Austin and choreographer Lee Martino. And, I certainly can’t thank enough our cast of thousands of talented Orange County community members, who have performed over the years.” Local dignitaries, major donors and other VIPs were invited to the cast party featuring a food buffet provided by the students of the culinary school at Orange Coast College. PAY LESS TO ADVERTISE TO REACH THE HIGH INCOME HOMEOWNERS OF NEWPORT BEACH, BALBOA, CORONA DEL MAR, AND NEWPORT COAST WHO WOULD LIKE TO BUY FROM YOU 1. Newport News Readers can afford your very best! According to reliable sources such as the U.S. census bureau the area served by the Newport News is one of Orange County’s highest income groups. These affluent nearby homeowners in Newport Beach, Balboa, Corona del Mar, and Newport Coast have more money to spend and the time to spend it. Make sure that these readers are aware of your company and what you do by keeping a regular, affordable advertising message in the newspaper that all of them read every week 2.Why pay more to reach your most preferred customers? Smart business owners and marketing experts agree that the most expensive advertising is advertising that doesn’t work. Savvy business managers are wise to be concerned about high volume publications that don’t deliver a strong local audience that would bring you customers. Major daily newspapers like the Times and the Register reach nearly a million readers, but do you really need to pay their high prices to reach your customers in Newport News? While some glossy monthly magazines are stylish, their costly rates may not be realistic compared to choosing a highly effective newspaper like the Newport News which is received by your most likely preferred customers of high income homeowners with advertising that costs you far less money. The Newport News is attractive, effective and affordable. 3. Why do Newport News Readers read the Newport News? Since 1907 The Newport News has been the favorite weekly publication of Newport Beach. On July 15, 1997, the Superior Court of Orange County adjudicated
(approved) The Newport News as the official newspaper for The City of Newport Beach and the County or Orange. That’s why you regularly see stories about the Newport News Chamber of Commerce, and prominent Newport News residents in the Newport News. So when you advertise In the Newport News you get the most popular weekly for Newport Beach readers. 4.U S Post office plus selected delivery makes this newspaper special! While everyone knows that the Newport News is delivered to nearly every single family residence in Newport Coast by the United States Post office, the Newport News is also hand-delivered each week to local Newport News area businesses, professional offices, library, and several centrally located news racks other popular gathering spots where Newport News residents can easily pick up a copy. 5.Who is this woman that raises hundreds of millions of dollars and how can she help me grow my business? If you don’t know her already, get to know Kelly Bennett, the top society columnist in Orange County. She also has the top rated radio show and television program “Breakfast with Gary and Kelly. Readers eagerly await her weekly column in the Newport News which features major charity events where the beautiful people
of Orange County gather for fashionable luncheons and dinners which regularly raise millions of dollars for worthy causes. Permit us to say that placing your advertising where it is seen by people who can afford to give away millions is the best advertising purchase you will ever make. Read Kelly Bennett’s “Society Scene “column every week in the Newport News and see why. 6. Free Online Advertising Newport News Version each week. While many people still prefer to have a hard copy of the Newport News to hold in their hand, our online version is equally popular for those who want to access our entire newspaper on their smartphone, tablet or computer. Your regular ad will appear in our online edition at no extra charge. Just click on the Thenewportnews.com. 7. How Fast Will this Home be sold? We’d like to share some actual quotes from local Newport News area realtors: BUYERS CAME IN WAVING the ad that appeared in the Newport News.” Two factors determine how fast a house will sell: 1.Choose a skilled real estate professional 2. Advertise it in the Newport News Whether you are selling homes or other desirable goods or services you should consider the Newport News for your advertising.

Beat the Heat with Pet Safety Tips
Sunny, warm days bring the welcome opportunity to change up your routine and spend more time outdoors with your beloved pets. However, soaring temperatures bring risks from heat and sun exposure, making your furry friends rely on you to help keep them healthy and safe. Make these warm-weather adjustments to keep your pets in top condition and ready to enjoy all the season has to offer with these safety tips from PetSmart experts: Keep them hydrated. Dehydration and heatstroke can be fatal to pets, so access to a clean water bowl both inside and outside is critical in the summertime. While you’re on the go, be sure to bring water for your pet in a suitable drinking container. Serve up healthy meals. Warmer weather invites opportunities, such as enticing picnic spreads, for pets to nab tasty treats. Protect your pet’s health by preventing them from ingesting food intended for humans, and opt instead for food and treats that fit their special needs and preferences. The varieties offered by Natural Balance, which is now available at PetSmart, span dry and wet food made with premium quality ingredients in formulas such as limited ingredient, grain-free and
weight management. Never leave your pet in a parked car. Studies show that on a hot day, the temperature inside a car can reach more than 160 degrees in five minutes. Leaving the windows cracked for fresh air or parking in the shade don’t keep temperatures from soaring in record time, either. Leaving pets in the car “just for a minute” is never a good idea. Groom regularly. One of the best ways to keep a dog’s coat healthy and help prevent matting and summertime skin irritation is regular grooming. The right grooming tool can dramatically reduce shedding by removing the undercoat and loose hair without sacrificing the healthy top coat. Provide skin protection. Just like humans, dogs can experience sunburn and even skin cancer. To prevent sunburn, apply a sunscreen where hair is thin and skin lacks pigment (nose, ears and sensitive areas) every day your dog is outside. Avoid hot surfaces. Dogs’ pads may seem tough, but sidewalks, pavement and sand can get so hot in the summer that dogs’ feet can burn and blister. To prevent this, schedule walks for the morning or evening, when sidewalks are cooler, or purchase protective boots

If you are the highest bidder at the auction, you are or may be responsible for paying off all liens senior to the lien being auctioned off, before you can receive clear title to the property. You are encouraged to investigate the existence, priority, and size of outstanding liens that may exist on this property by contacting the county recorder’s office or a title insurance company, either of which may charge you a fee for this information. If you consult either of these resources, you should be aware that the same Lender may hold more than one mortgage or Deed of Trust on the property. designed just for dogs. Practice smart snacking. After exercising and in between meals, a sensible snack can provide a boost of energy. Treats such as Natural Balance Dental Chews do double duty by giving a little help with oral care between brushing. Scientifically formulated with unique grooves, these tasty treats encourage natural, healthy chewing to help reduce and remove tartar and plaque. Provide outdoor relief. The best spot for your pet to cool off in the yard is a shaded grassy area because
grass releases moisture and keeps your pet cooler than concrete, dirt or gravel. For added comfort, provide a raised bed that increases the flow of cooler air underneath the bed mat to help your pet beat the heat. Keep water safety top of mind. Even if you consider your dog a good swimmer, a life jacket is very important if you take him with you on the boat or trips to the beach. Chapman Orange, California 92866 Amount of unpaid balance and other charges: $923,210.99 The purported property address is: 2461 MARINO DRIVE, NEWPORT BEACH, CA 92663 Assessor’s Parcel No.: 049-172-03 NOTICE TO POTENTIAL BIDDERS: If you are considering bidding on this property lien, you should understand that there are risks involved in bidding at a trustee auction. You will be bidding on a lien, not on the property itself. Placing the highest bid at a trustee auction does not automatically entitle you to free and clear ownership of the property. You should also be aware that the lien being auctioned off may be a junior lien. If you consult either of these resources, you
should be aware that the same lender may hold more than one mortgage or deed of trust on the property. NOTICE TO PROPERTY OWNER: The sale date shown on this notice of sale may be postponed one or more times by the mortgagee, beneficiary, trustee, or a court, pursuant to Section 2924g of the California Civil Code. The law requires that information about trustee sale postponements be made available to you and to the public, as a courtesy to those not present at the sale. If you wish to learn whether your sale date has been postponed, and, if applicable, the rescheduled time and date for the sale of this property, you may call 888-988-6736 for information regarding the trustee’s sale or visit this Internet Web site http://www.qualityloan.com , using the file number assigned to this foreclosure by the Trustee: CA-15-680424BF . Information about postponements that are very short in duration or that occur close in time to the scheduled sale may not immediately be reflected in the telephone information or on the Internet Web site. The best way to verify postponement information is to attend the scheduled sale. The undersigned Trustee disclaims any liability for any incorrectness of the property address or other common designation, if any, shown herein. If no street address or other common designation is shown, directions to the location of the property may be obtained by sending a written request to the beneficiary within 10 days of the date of first publication of this Notice of Sale. If the Trustee is unable to convey title for any reason, the successful bidder’s sole and exclusive remedy shall be the return of monies paid to the Trustee, and the successful bidder shall have no further recourse. If the sale is set aside for any reason, the Purchaser at the sale shall be entitled only to a return of the deposit paid. The Purchaser shall have no further recourse against the Mortgagor, the Mortgagee, or the Mortgagee’s Attorney. If you have previously been discharged through bankruptcy, you may have been released of personal liability for this loan in which case this letter is intended to exercise the note holders right’s against the real property only. As required by law, you are hereby notified that a negative credit report reflecting on your credit record may be submitted to a credit report agency if you fail to fulfill the terms of your credit obligations.
