Project 1 Divide and Connect Pavilion + Stacks
Divide: space so people can sense shelter and enclosure that separate us from adjoining interior spaces and the outside. — at the same time — Connect: with people, nature, and the city around them through seeing, smelling, feeling, and hearing.

Project 2 Divide and Connect Library This library is for people who come without a specific aim of books, and they are here to explore, find, search for books they might be interested in. The library explores the balance between division and connection of walls, spaces, and programs to create an immersive exploring books experience. Fragmented programs connect by stacks provide each fragment with various specific program purposes. Unenclosed walls, ceilings connect people with adjoin programs and outside through seeing, smelling, hearing, and feeling the space.

Project 3 Dance Spotlight Dance School This dance school’s ambition is to encourage dancers to dance confidently and passionately in every practice. The studios protrude out of the translucent cladding become stages to Providence, while Providence brings views and dynamic natural light for dancers to enjoy. Following dynamic curve walls and rising ceiling, people move through the spiral central circulation and explore various spatial experiences inside the dance school, enjoying the rhythmed outside and engaging inside.

Project 4 Architectural Analysis La Pyramide
1973 Abidjan, Ivory Coast Rinaldo Olivieri
An in-depth analysis of La Pyramide, Abidjan, Ivory Coast designed by Italian architect Rinaldo Olivieri, that are decidedly caught between the ‘universal’ tenets of modernism and the particularities of vernacular, subaltern building practices. Through careful analysis, I provide drawings that aim to dismantle prescriptive relationships between material and culture, vernacular and climate, and technology and history.

Art and Design Projects Rhode Island School of Design Experimental and Foundation Studies
In Drawing, Design, and Spatial Dynamics studios I worked on an ongoing series of challenging assignments. I pursue drawing as both a powerful way to investigate the world and an essential activity intrinsic to art and design practice. I explored how to organize visual and other sensory elements to understand perceptual attributes and convey meaningful messages through objects, spaces, and experiences. I developed physical, spatial, and temporal phenomena through a range of analog and digital processes.
