LESSON DESCRIPTIONS PARENT/TOT (6 MO - 3 YRS) Designed to help develop swimming readiness in young children by leading parents and their tots in water exploration activities, with the objective of having fun in the water. PRESCHOOL 1 (3 - 5 YRS) A beginner’s class that emphasizes water safety, water acclimation, water games and basic skills like kicking, blowing bubbles and floating.
PRESCHOOL 2 (3 - 5 YRS) Development of basic aquatic skills learned in Preschool 1. Floating and propulsion skills are introduced and refined. PRESCHOOL 3 (3 - 5 YRS) For children at this level, games and play are still paramount, but more advanced skills, like rotary breathing are also introduced. This prepares kids to easily move into Level 2 when they turn six.
Schedules, pricing, programming, and policies subject to change without notice.
LEVEL 1 (6+ YRS) A beginner’s class emphasizing water safety, water acclimation, water games and basic skills like kicking, blowing bubbles and floating. LEVEL 2 (6+ YRS) Students work toward independent swimming with a variety of swim aides which facilitate a fun and exciting learning environment. Student must be comfortable in the water. LEVEL 3 (6+ YRS) Student must be an independent swimmer; students experience a variety of water depths while working on stroke development and proficiency. L6: Refines strokes so students swim with ease, efficiency, power, and smoothness over greater distances, working on endurance swimming. PRE COMP (6+ YRS) If you have a swimmer unsure of competition, the Pre Comp class is the perfect introduction. Participants experience the fun of a team sport without the competition. Swimmers should be able to demostrate a strong freestyle and backstroke kick with a kick board for 25 yards. Swim suit and goggles required. ADULT (15+ YRS) It’s never too late to learn to swim or improve the skills you have. Lessons are adapted to each participants starting level so that you can become the swimmer you want to be.
