ABOUT ME I am an incredibly pas s i o n at e and self motivated creat o r w i t h a wide variety of experi e n c e i n multiple a rea s o f ART & D E S I G N. I am currently based in LO N D O N , UK and have recently com p l e t e d my three years of s t u d y i n BA HONS ILLUSTRAT I O N at UCA FAR N H A M . I have graduated w i t h a FIRST CLASS DE G R E E. During my time there I ga i n e d a lot of practical skills as w e l l a s improving my critical th i n k i n g and idea generatio n a n d gaining a better underst a n d i n g of my work p ro c e s s . EXP E R I E N C E T I TA N M AG A ZINES (Southwark) 3 M o n t h A d v erts & Marketing Intern (2017) During the summer before I started university I was offered the role of Ads & Marketing Intern for a 3-month position. I would update the website to add new products and update existing ones but once the team recognised that I had design and l ayout skills and experience with Photoshop and InDesign they moved me onto creating ads and promotion posters and banners that would go on to be published across their many magazines and books.
I R I S D I G I TA L (Southwark) 2 We e k Wo r k Experience (2010) During my high school summer holidays I was given the opportunity to return to Southwark and gain some experience from a design agency. I was involved in promotional and advertising work on the 2012 Olympic Mascots and was one of the first people outside of the company to create my own version of the mascots. I was also given the chance to experiment with creative customization of the characters for a potential children’s website game.
T I TA N M AG A ZINES (Southwark) 2 We e k Wo r k Experience (2009, 2011) 2009 - During my two week work experi ence placement with Titan I started off by working on mock covers to test my abilities but I was quickly given the opportunity to w ork on live briefs. This allowed me to use my knowledge of layout and graphic design and use of programmes like Adobe Photoshop and InDesign to work to a deadline and experience working to a brief from an early age. 2011 - I was proud to be invited back to Titan for a second placement where I was involved in similar projects as before. As they knew what I was capable of from my previous work with them I was put straight onto client work and helped with current projects around the studio. Because of this I feel that I gained a valuable insight into how the industry works and working to briefs and deadlines.

INTERESTS My biggest passion in life is art in all kinds of creative mediums. I have had a pencil in my hand for as long as I can remember and have used any and all opportunities to express myself through creativity. I have put a lot of time and effort into developing my skills and constantly striving to improve my work. Thanks to university and the many different workshops I was able to access I discovered and interest in creative writing. It was something that I had never considered before as I had not thought of myself as a writer but it is something that I was good at and it has become a solid part of my idea development process and a way of exploring ideas instead of purely visually. It is something that I wish to continue exploring along with my work. With my graphic design background combined with my illustration skills I have been incredibly interested in producing publications and putting together collections of work to form a narrative. I have been working on a wordless narrative as part of my final major project and I am hoping to get it published one day. I have also been building up a portfolio of work that I am able to sell and display at multiple illustration / craft fairs to help build up a list of contacts and getting my work seen by other creatives.
