From Clyde’s office in Helensburgh, drive down to the shore road (West Clyde Street) and turn right heading for Garelochhead via Rhu and Shandon. Drive through Garelochhead and keep turning left to follow the shore road. Drive through Clynder and Rosneath heading for Kilcreggan. Driving down the hill into Kilcreggan, the entrance to Portkil Farm is on the left hand side although the hairpin bend is very sharp and it might be advisable to go into the village and drive back up to turn right into the driveway.
