The latest technological developments among agricultural vehicles have resulted in higher performance engines in recent years. Reducing fuel consumption to minimize the effects on the environment, especially in agriculture, has also become an important topic. Together with the stringent standards imposed by manufacturers of engines and transmissions, these developments go hand in hand with a real evolution in the use of our lubricants in agricultural vehicles. In order to reduce the number of oils used in agricultural environments, a set of multipurpose oils has been developed by Rymax Lubricants; a Super Tractor Universal Oil (STOU) used in the engine, transmission, brakes, and hydraulic systems; a Universal Tractor Transmission Oil (UTTO) suitable for all the aforementioned applications expect for usage in the engine. Besides sustainability, increased productivity and lower maintenance costs, even more attention is paid today to lower fuel consumption and fewer emissions from modern engines. Only one multi-purpose oil is no longer sufficient for the modern EURO V and EURO VI engines. Two different products are required: a specific engine oil and a second oil for the hydraulic system, the brakes, and the transmission. The high-quality engine oils by Rymax Lubricants offer the required performance and also help to comply with the requirements set out in the latest emission standards. The aim is to achieve good fluidity at low temperatures and equally good performance at high temperatures. Next to the engine, the driveline is a very important piece of equipment in any tractor or harvest machine. Powerful tractors and efficient drive systems are becoming increasingly important for the agricultural sector. The chosen lubricant needs to contribute to higher productivity in daily use on farmland, grassland, and on the road. In this respect, reliability, economic efficiency, environmental compatibility, and a long service life have the highest priority. In order to reduce the number of oils used in agricultural environments, we have developed a multipurpose engine oil specially suitable for engines dating before the year 2000. Our Styx Super Tractor Universal Oil (STOU) is used for the engine, transmission, wet brakes, and the hydraulic system. Our Styx Universal Tractor Transmission Oil (UTTO) can be used for all the aforementioned applications except for usage in the engine. For today’s engines we advise our Heavy Duty Diesel Engine oils. Rymax offers the right lubricant for any transmission requirement including synchromesh transmissions, powershift transmissions, continuously variable transmissions, rigid and steering axles for tractors, as well as drive systems for self-propelled harvesting machines. The hydraulic system in agricultural equipment is of essential importance. Not only does it require your hightech equipment to operate with the highest precision, it also needs to be reliable, environmentally friendly, and cost-effective. The complexity of the hydraulic systems in the agricultural industry is mainly due to the fact it has a wide variety of functions. This is especially true for high horsepower tractors with not only steering and brake functions, but where a great variety of hydraulic implements will be connected and towed. With the operating parameters of a farmer’s collection of cross-branded, specialty implements unknown to a tractor designer, the hydraulic system may be either inefficient due to over-sizing and over-design—or it might fail to perform adequately if under-designed. Self-propelled row crop harvesters, as well as fruit and vegetable harvesters, now approach the size of many pulling tractors with engines larger than 500 hp. Some forage corn harvesters have engines with more than 1,000 hp. For some of these machines, the only reason to start the engine is to power hydraulic pumps. Others split the mechanical functions between a direct drive gearbox and a hydraulic system. System design must balance the challenge of evenly distributing hydraulic flow to all of the sub circuits, while retaining the capability of bringing all of the hydraulic power to bear on motor functions for quick travel between growing areas. The common challenge across the entire spectrum of agricultural machinery is to create a hydraulic system that is energy efficient, easy to operate and maintain, and of course reliable. Partial automation is an absolute minimum necessity for large-scale machines where the operator’s attention can be drawn in so many directions. The importance of grease is often underestimated in a farm’s lubricant family. Liquid lubricants – like engine and transmission oils – get housed in modern amenities such as vented poly-stacked tanks. Grease guns and cartridges find their way to the backs of pickup beds or tractor toolboxes, exposed to summer heat and severe winter cold. Yet they are expected to flow like warm butter through any grease gun and protect bearings even years after the grease was purchased. Grease is the most forgiving of all lubricants used in agriculture, but it has a service limit. If the right grease is not being used in equipment, you could be paying too much for replacement parts. On the other hand, the right grease can allow equipment to run for years without a maintenance problem. Conventional greases, most common in farm use, employ a mineral oil suspended in a thickener. However, Rymax also offers synthetic greases. Each grease has its advantages. Conventional greases are the cheapest to buy. Synthetics, however, are finding ready use in agriculture, since they perform well at low-temperature, high load applications such as in wheel bearings running in the winter. LIMITED PERFORMANCE WARRANTY Rymax Lubricants guarantees that all engine oil products will meet or exceed the performance needs of diesel engines. Regardless of operating hours or covered distance, Rymax Lubricants will take financial responsibility for any damages in parts and labor to your machines’s engine, caused by oil failure as long as:

Analysis is done on the concerning oil based on a sample taken from the engine. The oil used is confirmed to be an unadulterated and non-contaminated Rymax Lubricants original product. The Rymax oil meets the engine manufacturer’s specifications for the service and application. The engine is used under normal operating conditions and maintained according to the manufacturer’s recommendation.

To ensure usage of our Warranty Service report, the product failure to an authorized Rymax Lubricants distributor. To make a claim under this warranty it is necessary to provide the following as part of the technical investigation:

• Records showing that the engine was serviced according to the OEM’s recommendations. • Deliver the used Rymax engine oil, along with detailed information of machine and fluid hours, dates, and an oil sample for the failed engine for analysis to determine if the oil is defective.

• Make the failed engine available for investigation if necessary. Rymax Lubricants does not accept liability for indirect or consequential damages. Your rights and remedies pertaining to this warranty are limited as set forth herein.
