In the site location plan above, the area highlighted in blue shows the White City area. This is the region that is protected under UNESCO World Heritage status and contains a large number of Bauhaus style buildings from the early 20th century. Directly south of the White City area is Rothchild Boulevard, highlighed in orange. Rothchild Boulevard inherits the curving profile that begins to emerge from the south of White City and continues throughout Rothschild Boulevard creating perhaps the widest and most prominent street in Tel Aviv. The northern side of the street contains a handful of UNESCO protected buildings, with the rest of the area consisting mainly of commercial blocks, offices and restaurants.
