Vision Walk

On April 14, my friends and I volunteered and participated in the Vision Walk. Despite the hot weather, the six hours I spent that day were memorable and totally worth it. During the event, I interacted with other volunteers, and cheered on the participants. The passion and smiles on their faces made a lasting impression in my memory. It surprised me when they cheered us on too. Due to the event, I realized that that day wasn’t just a simple walk, but it’s about sharing kindness and support with others. We were all strangers, but we viewed one another as people who cared about a common cause. I would definitely go to another event like the Vision Walk in the future to meet even more people and new friends. Lastly, my takeaway is that “We don’t make keys, we make a difference”. -Angela Zhang, member
