Serving people with intellectual and related disabilities
HARC’s Recreation Programs provide our par-
with intellectual disability, social interaction with their peers is about being one of the guys or gals: they go bowling, on overnight trips to Vermont and have dances with their friends. Isn’t that what having fun is all about? AJ is a social butterfly. His recreation schedule
can include sleepovers, fishing derbies in Vermont, walking around Faneuil Hall and lots of bowling. All with his friends. AJ beams with pride and excitement when he talks about why he loves recreation; “It’s lots of fun and I have a good time!” Recreation for AJ means he is important, independent and has time with his peers. Please keep HARC the exceptional community that it is by supporting the 2015 / 2016 Annual Fund. Send your contribution today or go to: www.harc-ct.org/give
