People are humble by nature—we all think that we don’t have a story. Yet we all do. It can be daunting to share it and it can be frightening to think people will judge us or consider our words ‘nonsense.’ One of my favourite quotes of all time is by Eleanor Roosevelt: “What other people think of me is none of my business.” I believe it—and we are honoured to share with you this issue and illustrate the courage it took for some to open up and share their lives with us.
This issue continues to collaborate and authenticate our community. What started out as a passion has become a movement for many of
our stories.
