Celebrity Guest Panel Rob Benedict

Best known for roles in FELICITY and SUPERNATURAL. Notable film roles include STATE OF PLAY with Russell Crowe, KICKING & SCREAMING with Will Ferrell, SEX AND DEATH 101 with Winona Ryder, NOT ANOTHER TEEN MOVIE, and TWO DAYS with Paul Rudd. He has had guest appearances in series such as THE MENTALIST, NCIS: Los Angeles, PSYCH, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, BURN NOTICE, and more. Rob wrote and stars in the short film THE SIDEKICK, which premiered at Comic-con in July. He also co-wrote and played “Miles Davis-Davidson” in the Unauthorized Hangover 2 Documentary, which was featured on the DVD of the HANGOVER 2. When not acting, he can be seen and heard as front man of the LA based rock band LOUDEN SWAIN, whose new CD was released in early 2012.

Noel G

Noel has appeared in over 100 films and television series since he started acting in 1999. He can be seen in hits such as THE FAST & THE FURIOUS, TRAINING DAY, BRUCE ALMIGHTY, THE WALKING DEAD and most recently, THE DARK KNIGHT. He has just completed four new films with many others in post-production. He stars in feature film KIDNAPPED SOULS, which has its World Premiere at this year’s ITSA Film Festival. It was written and directed by Juan Frausto. Gugliemi is a Christian, and regularly delivers motivational speeches at churches. Although he often plays gangsters, he speaks at schools to tell children not to get involved with gangs.

Rachele Brooke Smith

Rachele starred in CENTER STAGE: TURN IT UP and BRING IT ON: FIGHT TO THE FINISH. She just completed THE CLOTH, starring Danny Trejo and Eric Roberts. She’s a dancer in Robert Zemekis’ A CHRISTMAS CAROL, the Zac Efron/ Matthew Perry comedy SEVENTEEN AGAIN, dancing Chipette “Janette” in ALVIN & THE CHIPMUNKS: THE SQUEAKQUEL, an “Ironette” in Iron Man 2, and BURLESQUE, starring Cher and Christina Aguilera. She has had many appearances on GLEE and guest starred as the “LADY IN RED” on HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER. She has also been in music videos for John Legend and Andre 3000. She travels around the country doing motivational speaking engagements, teaching master classes in dance to kids and teens and producing her motivational web show UNBREAKABLE DREAMS (and thrill seekers).

Alex P. Creasia

Alex started off his career in the US Marine Corps, where he was part of a Special Operations Capable Unit in which traveled the world. Afterwards he earned a BFA at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. In coming to LA, he interned at NBC, Universal Pictures and Sleeping Giant Management. He was an executive assistant at Ryan Murphy Productions where we was a part of the GLEE Franchise, AMERICAN HORROR STORY and the new NBC show THE NEW NORMAL. Alex is an entertainment manager & producer. He has produced for his clients, two award-winning short films, music videos for notable bands and is currently developing and packaging feature films and TV shows under is management/production company, VOL. UNLIMITED. 3


2013 Judges David Novak – Actor

David Novak is a veteran of over twenty years in the entertainment business. He is an actor, writer, musician, singer, song writer, and guitarist. His early acting career began doing extra work for many feature film, prime time television shows and national commercials. One of his earlier “breakout” roles was in ABC’s daytime television soap GENERAL HOSPITAL where he landed an ongoing recurring role as “Tiso” (one of the mafia generals). His writing talents have also given themselves to a number of screenplays. He enjoys regular roles in feature films, television and commercials with an eye on producing his own projects.

Chris Brown – Director

Chris has directed several award-winning features, documentaries and shorts. He has won numerous awards including an EMMY®. His feature, FANNY, ANNIE & DANNY, won 16 awards internationally. He edited and associate produced A RIVER CHANGES COURSE, for OSCAR®-winner Kalyanee Mam. It won GRAND JURY AWARD at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival, BEST DOCUMENTARY at the 2013 San Francisco Int’l Film Festival, and 8 other awards since its premiere in January 2013. Chris is a panel speaker during Gala night.

Karl Dambacher – Producer

Karl is a member of the Recording Academy (GRAMMYs). He has been featured in many films to include Joe Hill, filmed in 1971 in Jamestown CA. Karl has worked for CBS, Univision and Channel 31out of Sacramento. He’s worked in production, as a producer and in advertising. His family has been in Tuolumne County since 1849. They built the Historic Sonora Opera Hall and they put on Vaudeville shows. Karl is a panel speaker during Gala night.

Workshops Carollyn DeVore – Talent Agent

Carollyn DeVore is the Director of DeVore Talent & Casting (DeVore Studios), with offices in Hollywood and Fresno. She has more than 200 television credits, 20 feature films, 60 national TV commercials and she was a USO entertainer with Bob Hope and Johnny Grant in Vietnam (1968-1970). Carollyn’s expertise Casting Skills were used by Hollywood Productions when they needed to cast local actors in the Central Valley for MOUSE HUNT, ADDAMS FAMILY VALUES, CLICK, INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL and more. She has served as Press/Media Chairperson for the Youth in Film Awards Show (the Academy Award for children). .

Patrick Olguin – Sound for Film / Television

Patrick is an independent sound engineer; he owns Velvet Tone Studios out of Sacramento. He’s also a member of the ITSA advisory board for his 4th year. He just recently finished up doing sound for a PBS special, so he’ll be discussing in-depth how he set up the sound for it. Pat has received multi-platinum engineering credits for working with groups such as Black Eyed Peas, E-40, Papa Roach and many others. His most recent credit is for mixing and mastering CAKE’s hugely successful record “Showroom of Compassion” which reached #1 on Billboard.

Bryan Starchman – Play & Screenwriting

Bryan is a published playwright with 15 plays that have been produced over 1100 times in 49 states and 7 countries. He has a comic strip that he’s adapted into a TV pilot; the entire series is posted at teachersdirtylooks. com. He studied at UCLA and worked in the film industry at FOX studios, Bender/Spink (their big breakout film was Butterfly Effect) and STARZ! He has produced 40 plays, including classics SWEENEY TODD and LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, staged episodes of THE TWILIGHT ZONE, and many of his own works. He’s currently staging a play he wrote about cyberbullying, teen dating violence prevention, body image, and sexism that was funded through a grant provided by California State Health & Human Services.
