TRAINING AND PRODUCTION CENTER FOR AMATEUR CINEMA KÉLIBIA, NABEUL, TUNISIA GRADUATION PROJECT 2017
Kelibia has been receiving for more than half a century the International Amateur Film Festival (FIFAK). Amateur cinema has taken roots in the city and represents nowadays a part of its cultural background. This project tends to spatialize the heritage of this art in the aim of developing and valorizing it locally and nationally.
The forteress of the city MASS PLAN
SITUATION
The project is divided according to the cycle of making amateur cinema: Development, Production, and Broadcast, in addition to the headquarters of the amateur cinema club of the town. The cinématographic technique of staging is interpreted by the architecture of the project. In fact, the fortress, an iconic monument that represents the identity of the city, is staged in every part of the project. This is to link the center to the identity of Kélibia. At the heart of the project are grass bleachers that can host FIFAK festivities during the summer with the fortress in the background

This project intends to design new headquarters for the association of architects in Tunis. The location is in El Manar in front of a university campus. The area of the site is 1820m², it’s a corner lot. The program of the project is divided into commercial areas (to finance the association), exposition areas, a kindergarten, incubators for young architects, a multimedia librabry and office environments for the association. The basement is reserved for parking spots and storage rooms. The new headquarters also dispose of a multi-purpose room which can be used as a conference room or rented to private parties. This project was carried out from sketch to the executional drawings. My concentration was based on the implantation of the project to its environment, finding a coherence between the spaces of the varied and charged program and profit of the corner site.

URBAN RESTRUCTURING
SOUSSE, TUNISIA 4TH YEAR STUDY TRIP PROJECT 2016
After a study trip to Sousse, we (students of ENAU) shed light on the urban anomalies that appear in the proposed study site: the west side of the medina of Sousse. In the form of workshops, we have redesigned the urban fabric in the aim of creating a contiuity between the medinal structure and the contemporary stucture. One of our main solutions was to transform the crowded road in front of the entry to the medina into an underground tunnel. This would create an urban square that allows a transition between the two different fabrics. We also suggested to remove the existing military base. This would solve traffic problems and enable a urban continuity. Finally, I was called upon to design the proposed urban square.

The military base inhibits any form of dialectic between the urban fabrics EXISTING URBAN PLAN

LES BERGES DU LAC, TUNIS, TUNISIA 3RD YEAR PROJECT 2015
+1,20
It’s about designing an 8-storey urban hotel in the Berges du Lac in Tunis. The program of the project is composed of ,in addition to the rooms , a conference room, commercial areas, a restaurant and a café. The ground floor and the first floor are marked by a vegetated patio around which functions are distributed. All rooms benefit from green terraces and a view. In order to make the rooms of the last floors attractive, I made a corner treatment in the direction of the mountain Boukernin.

VILLA AM BOU ARGOUB , NABEUL, TUNISIA INTERNSHIP ARCHITECTURE OFFICE MS. AFEF CHATER BACHA 2016
This project consists of designing a villa in the countryside of Bou Argoub. The site is marked by a steep slope. We integraded the villa into the slope which lets the villa benefit from the good orientation and opens it on a breathtaking view of the countryside. The lower level of the site matches with the ground level which is dedicated for a garage and rooms for service employees (housekeepers). This level leads to the first floor which corresponds with the higher level of the site and represents the main entry level. This floor is allocated to the kitchen, a main living room and a secondary living room both opening on a large terrace with a swimming pool and benefit from the view, in addition to two suites. On the second floor there is the master bedroom.

BRIDGES THE KRIJGSMAN MUIDEN, NORTH HOLLAND, THE NETHERLANDS
INTERNSHIP ARCHITECTURE OFFICE SYB VAN BREDA & CO. ARCHITECTS 2017
This project is part of a European tender for the design of 3 bridges, one road bridge which can be opened occasionally and two identical bicycle bridges which can be opened mechanically. The bridges cross the Muidertrekvaart canal and lead to the new urban planning: De Krijgsman. The presence of the powder factory, a historic monument in the site, led us to refer to the bailey military bridge, which we interpreted in our context. We transformed the parts which consitute the bailey bridge into two trusses and replaced the frames by a metal plate cut in gradation, with reninforcements where it is necessary ( the road bridge and the axe of rotation). We have opted for a rotational opening that fits better into the environment and does not break the long perspectives of the canal. The tender was won by Syb van Breda & Co. Architects.

THE BLUE RUNNER WINSCHOTEN, GRONINGEN, THE NETHERLANDS
INTERNSHIP ARCHITECTURE OFFICE SYB VAN BREDA & CO. ARCHITECTS 2018
This project aims to create a bicycle connection between the two cities of Blauwestad and Winschoten as part of a European tender. It will be the longest bicycle bridge in Europe. The approach of the bridge from the Winschoten Parc is in the shape of a spiral which has been used to preserve the largest trees of the parc. Once on bridge level the different obstacles (Canal, motorway, meadows, lake and different roads) are crossed in one simple sweep. For the materials the main structure is 100% recycable weathering steel: cortene. The deck is combined of both wooden and steel elements.
