MEC Mosupyoe led the 2023 school readiness programme in Magaliesburg

s part of the school readiness programme, Gauteng MEC for Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation, Morakane Mosupyoe on Wednesday, 11 January 2023 visited two identified schools in Magaliesburg, to assess the state of readiness for the reopening of schools.

The two-day programme started on Tuesday, 10 January 2023, with a cleanup campaign at the Magaliesburg State School and painting at Thutoboswa ECD Centre to ensure that the schools are ready, safe and in good condition to receive learners.

On Wednesday, 11 January 2023, the MEC will handed over dignity packs and sport equipment to the school and educational toys to the ECD. The MEC will also established a food gardening initiative to promote healthy eating habits and introduce a practice of growing vegetables to the learners.
