Jeff Hardin has been practicing Insight Meditation since 2000. He is a community mentor at the Sacramento Insight Meditation group and sits on the boards of the Sati Center for Buddhist Studies and the Folsom Prison Sangha. He is a volunteer for Buddhist Global Relief and a founding member of Insight World Aid, two non-profit organizations that aspire to transform the Buddha‟s teachings into social benefit. He has graduated from SIM‟s Practice Development and Leadership Program and is enrolled in Spirit Rock Meditation Center‟s Community Dharma Leadership Program. He studies the early discourses (suttas) of the Buddha. He is a practicing physician in Sacramento, CA.
