Persian! population! extended! eastwards! and! westwards.1!The! new! culture! spread! over! a! vast! area! from! Syria! to! North! India,! right! up! to! the! borders! of! China,!and!also!from!Caucasus!to!Zanzibar.2!Thus,!in!the!ancient!times!the!extent! of! the! “Persian! world�! corresponded! to! the! group! of! territories! that! comprised! the! Achaemenid! Empire! (550`330BCE),! the! Parthian! Empire! (247`224CE),! Sassanid! Empire! `! which! was! the! last! pre`Islamic! Empire! (226`642CE)! and! Safavid! Empire! (1501`1722CE)! which! came! after! the! Arabs! invaded! Persia! and! forced!Islam!on!Persians.!3! ! Architecture! in! Persia! has! been! established! for! more! than! 7,000! years,! from! 5,000! BCE! to! the! present.!
