LESS DESIGN, MORE STORIES
We are a high concept home interior and stationery design company founded in Helsinki, Finland and now based in Seoul, South Korea. We explore various characteristics of the ordinary objects we interact with everyday. These ordinary daily objects have people’s emotional attachment to them and we believe that it can be physically integrated into the products. We observe and re-create ordinary products that reflect our lives.
일상 속에서 사용 되어지는 평범한 물건들 안에서 새로운 디자인의 가능성을 발견하고자 합니다. 생활 속에서 자연스럽게 쓰여지는 평범한 물건들에는 사 용자의 감성과 삶의 깊이를 담고 있다고 생각합니다. 쿨 이너프 스튜디오는 이러한 신념을 바탕으로 우리 삶을 대변할 수 있는 깊이 있는 디자인을 합니다.

BRIGHTEN This is called ‘Brighten’; the furniture is composed of wood, plywood and aluminum sheet. Customized holding system provides new organised experience with playful elements. This means people can create their own wall patterns depending on their uses. Punched holes also enable people to get the electronic signal from the remote control to products in drawers. Moreover, it is designed to be used as a cable management system. This object enables people to play with their furniture in the environment. The playful holding system for TV devices means that this furniture offer not only functional but also playfulness elements while using it.

RELIGHT The shape of ordinary object without any decorative elements is so beautiful. It is about simplicity but in more meaningful way. ‘Relight’ comes from this approach & inspirations. This RELIGHT highlights a bulb that actually is just beautiful as it is. So, when people use the RELIGHT, it can be adapted well as part of the environment & start to have emotional relationship without any disruption. This beautifully hand made lighting will be RELIGHT to your life!

HAVE A NICE YE AR A calendar that is not just about checking a date. The HAVE A NICE YEAR project is about spreading the year, month, and day on one page so that it allows people to look at the larger flow of time in a year. HAVE A NICE YEAR calendar offers unique ways of checking dates by having 3 different versions: 1 year, 12 years, and 120 years.

HANGER What is the most convenient way to hang your personal belongings such as your clothes, bags, and even shoes? We can often think about using our daily products in different ways. HANGER enables us to change the way we hang out clothes, while keeping the same visual metaphor as one of the daily products we use everyday. Easy, yet in the most beautiful way.

HUHU The starting point of designing HUHU is to encourage people to get emotional compensation by using the object. Many people have unconscious fidgeting tendencies which can include chewing nails, shaking legs, and so on. By pulling out strings from the inner surface of the cushion, HUHU relieves those habits and creates a state of relaxation for the user. The name ‘HUHU’ comes from the deep breathing noise people make when they are relaxed.
The end result of combining unconscious behaviors with an object make HUHU beautiful.

THE MIRROR See Our attitude about the mirror, We reinterpret the behaviour of ‘see’ or ‘looking in the mirror’ Do we underestimate the hand-held mirror that reflects ourselves? Convenience We introduce the convenience of THE MIRROR to you who are familiar with flat mirrors. The Beauty The mirror is the object that reflects and represents ourselves. This is the reason why designing the mirror cannot be neglected. The Sleekness Generally, the thinnest mirror in the market is around 1 mm. We achieve to create a mirror that is 0.3mm thinner and it brings the sleekness to the hand-held mirror.
