Details below. Everything You Wanted to Know About Low Budget Contracts but Were Afraid to Ask Has your friend asked you to be in their next web series? Do you enjoy working with local filmmakers on short and ultra low budget productions? Are you making your own short, feature or webisode? All of these require that the production be under a union contract. If you work on these type of productions and want more information on your rights, how to flip a non-union production into a union production or what the paperwork looks like, then this is a must-attend event for you. When: 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 16 Where: Kauffher Members Resources Center (KMRC) 1 E. Enter on the north side of Ontario between Wabash and State, and then take a ticket. When you sign in, you may purchase a four-hour ticket for $13 cash, $14 Visa, MasterCard or American Express payment. You will need both tickets to exit the parking structure. This meeting is only open to paid-up SAG-AFTRA members in good standing. Unfortunately, no guests allowed. Parents/guardians of younger performers under 18 years old are welcome. SAG-AFTRA members, please bring your membership card (paid through Oct. 31, 2016) for admittance.
