SAG-AFTRA Conservatory Presents Additional Income Streams for Actors, Broadcasters and Other Artists and Media Professionals Don't just survive, learn to thrive. Panelists and participants will share tips, insights and experiences for creating additional income streams to enhance your primary professional pursuits. When: 6 - 8 p.m. Monday, June 22, 2015 Where: KMRC, 1 E. Erie, Suite 660, Chicago Panelists Include: Kathleen Lawlor has performed in more than 25 independent films including; The Defiled (Chicago International Film Festival), Fall Away (New York City Independent Film Festival), Holy Ghost People (Audience Award for Best Film at SXSW) and The Origins of Wit and Humor. Her TV and New Media credits include 3 Squares - The Series, Easy Abby, The Mob Doctor (Fox), Betrayal (ABC). Kathleen is also a writer and producer. Topic: Commercial Real Estate and being a Brand Ambassador. Richard Shavzin has spent the last 30-plus years wearing more hats than a milliner to make a living in the theater. In addition, he is a director, producer, casting director, VO artist, stage manager, lighting designer, executive coach, litigation consultant, monologue coach, dramaturg, and -- for the worst three months of his life - a headhunter for stockbrokers, after which he took a two-week shower. Topic: Litigation Consulting and Lawyer Training. Grant Stokes is the creator and star of Fall Away, which earned five awards at the 2011 New York City International Film Festival, including Best Lead Actor in a Feature Film. Currently, he is working on the film Only The Righteous. Stokes taught at Act One Studios and at colleges and universities in the Chicago area. Topic: Teaching. Singers and Musicians Dental Clinic MusiCares, in collaboration with the Chicago Federation of Musicians and Smiles Programs ... The Mobile Dentists, will host a free dental clinic for music professionals.* Eligible patients will receive a complete dental exam, bitewing X-rays and a dental cleaning free of charge. 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Thursday, June 4, 2015 Chicago Federation of Musicians 656 W.
