The Project vision pushes towards a progressive change in housing. It aims to move away from the concept of family housing to a more collective communal housing design principle. The aim is to promote a socialist way of living by emphasizing people to occupy public sp spaces rather than being withheld to their individual housing units. - Creating a community space that integrates green open spaces with the built structure. - To conserve the trees on site and build an efficient system around them to maintain the topography and identity of the plot. - Strategical design that deals the the public edge of the site and provides interaction while maintains privacy for the residents.
- The central atrium provides a ventilation space - Creating the living spaces through terraces - Increases daylight in the core to promote community association - Buffer space, temporal quality
Single block as the base unit
Dividing the blocks in separate parts to incorporate towers of type 2, 3 and 4 housing.
Further separating towers to introduce buffer spaces and a central core in the building.

Zoning diagram The green depicts the landscaping whereas the brown areas, surrounding the green are the built blocks. The towers form clusters, enclosing smaller green pockets. This facilitates communal living and interaction amongst people. .
Alternate floors have terrace gardens that act as breathing spaces and provide a common platform for the people to interact.

Project Name : ARCON SCHOOL OF ARTS AND ARCHITECTURE Location: Ghata top, Gurgaon To create an institutional building that caters to the schools of design and architecture. The design should respond appropriately to the surrounding context, views, wind and sun. the design should be cater to both vehicular and pedestrian movement and keep in mind the aged group of people using each space. Time being endless can also be represented in an endless loop formed by the interconnections of the dierent wheels inside the clock.

In this case parts of a clock wheel are taken up as elements which when brought together form the loop which gives a feeling of an endless corridor, much like how time is endless.

Project name: Golf Business Park Location: MG Road, Gurgaon Year : January - May 2018 The aim was to create a mix use space accommodating retail, business and hotel space. Addition of an X-factor to draw in the crowd was required. The design should keep in mind the different forms and patterns of circulation required for each function. No two function s should create a disruption for each other.

The design is based on the concept of podium and tower. The podium contains the retail, business and X-factor which in this case is a sports institute. The tower is completely reserved for hotel.
The lack of sports facilities around the project site cretaes the perfect oppertunity to creat a sports centre which not only caters to the hotel, but also to the surrounding residential ar areas.

27 Project : Tibetian Knowledge Centre Location : Darjeeeling, West Bengal Year : 2nd year, 2017 (January- May) Memo Memory plays a very important role in shaping the architecture of a certain area. This semester, we looked into the Tibetian community settled in the city of Darjeeling in West Bengal, India. The aim was to create a space which reflected the organic pattern in which the settlement in Darjeeling came into being . Patterns taken from various pictures of the settlement were overlayed to achieve the final massing for the knowledge centre.

DISSERTATION ABSTRACT British colonial style has been an important architecture style during the colonial period of India. This paper shall shed light on the concept of British Colonial architecture in the mid 20th century in India by analysing the works of Edwin Lutyens. The viceroy's house, which is now the Rashtrapati Bhawan, is one of the major buildings built during that time. A number of rulers were also provided palaces close to the viceroys' house as they had joined hands and formed an alliance and wanted to be closer to the source of power. Evidence of important colonial architecture can be found in a few major cities of India like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and madras etc. et This paper is a study in the works of Edwin Lutyens to infer and analyse the underlying principles of British Colonial architecture namely through two buildings; The Hyderabad House, and The Baroda House.
43 Aim and Objectives To identify the underlying geometry and spatial character of British colonial architecture as portrayed in the India context during the early 19th Century. Butterfly house evolution The plan of the Edwardian butterfly house went through a number of changes before it resulted in the plan of the Hyderabad and Baroda House. The plan, initially realized in the seventeenth century in the plan of Westwood Park (top left), was modified to some extend to built the Papillon Hall, Leicestershire by Edwin Lutyens (top right). Lutyens finished remodeling the Papillon Hall into a butterfly shape, E. S. Prior was commissioned to built the residence of Voewood in Norfolk (bottom left). Dividing the plan in half such that two wings of the butterfly plan remained, angled at about fifty five degrees from the main hall, this resulted in the final plan of the Hyderabad house (bottom right). Entrance to Uizi The entrance to the passage from Uizi to Arno River in Florence also shows the combination of rectangular and round arches that Edwin Lutyens used for the windows in the upper storey of the Hyderabad house.
The windows of the Hyderabad house are not only inspired by the façade of the Museo Napoleonico in Rome but also from various other roman buildings. The high renaissance period in Italy and Rome gave way to fenestrations having classical proportions and were divided using pr mullions. The central axis is divided into two by forming an arc through its centre the lower part axis into 4 equal segments. The lower end of the axis is taken as the centre and two concentric circles are drawn. The radius of the larger circle is equal to one segment of the divided axis. Two lines at an angle of 55 degrees from one another are drawn from the top of the axis.

There are several methods for correlating the elements present in the plan to its section or elevation. One of the most prevalent methods is proportions. It suggests that the plan and the section are of the same configuration but in dierent scales. The most common scales used are 1:2, 2:3 and 1:5. The Princely Palaces display a ratio of 1:2 in the relationship between the plans and the sections. Here we see that the plan of the dome in Hyderabad house is in the ratio of 1:2 with the section of the dome. This means that the radius of the circle for the dome in plan is twice the height of the dome on section. Another aspect of the plan that deals with proportions is the ratio of the width to the height of the plan. The height of the two storey building is one-third the width of the building. These proportional relationships between plans, sections and elevations play a huge role in determining the configuration and form of the building.
