We don’t want to wish the summer away, but we must admit to being just a tad excited about our September and October programme, which you can now pore over with the delivery of your virtual What’s On Guide.
In just a few weeks we welcome Pet Shop Boys in what is sure to be a frenzy of pop brilliance, followed swiftly by Idelwild frontman Roddy Woomble performing new material ahead of his new album release.
September also marks the start of the classical season, with opening night featuring favourites from two giants of American music plus much more.
In October, we have a similarly impressive programme for you to enjoy as we welcome rising indie star Nadine Shah and the Fast Show’s Simon Day, showcasing four of his most love characters in what is bound to be a laugh a minute show.
Of course, October also brings TUSK Festival 2017 to Sage Gateshead, showcasing a whole host of diverse new music to the banks of the Tyne.
