Students Strengthen Bonds Celebrating International Week
St. Mary’s Elementary School was proud to hold its annual International Week, where the entire school community participated, making it a fun-filled week of learning, celebration and strengthening bonds. To kick off International Week, students went soaring around the school. Each classroom created a flag to display information about their country’s geography, history, cuisine, and unique, fun facts. Students traveled to different classrooms where they learned about each country and stamped their passport books with the locations they visited.
A favorite highlight of the week was the International Feast, filled with delicious dishes from around the world. Students and families took their taste buds on an adventure and sampled food from various cultures.
The week concluded with a Prayer Service where faculty, administration, students, and parents joined together and prayed the Rosary in over 15 languages! St. Mary’s had a blast adventuring around the world and, as with all things gave thanks to God for blessing a week well spent learning, embracing diversity and shining together as a school family.
Audiences Enchanted by Cinderellaon Stage
Spanning four spectacular performances, the Saint Mary’s High School Performing Arts Program enchanted its audiences with this year’s spring production of Rodger’s and Hammerstein’s Cinderella. With resounding applause, the multi-talented students – actors, set designers, and production crew transformed the Immaculata Hall Auditorium into a magical space where, no matter what age, the fairytale immersed theatre-goers. Under the direction of Brian Stalter, who also serves on the faculty of the School, the show was a tremendous success. Congratulations to all for a fantastic run! The God-given talents of these students truly bless us.
