GRADING SCALE AND SCHEDULE
Beginning in fall of 2021, Saint Viator will conduct classes on a 90-minute A/B block schedule and will begin to report GPA’s on a weighted 4.0 scale. While semester grades for individual classes will still be reported numerically, cumulative grades will now be calculated based on this scale: Grading Scale 98 - 100 = 4.33 93 - 97 = 4.0 90 - 92 = 3.67 87 - 89 = 3.33 83 - 86 = 3.0 80 - 82 = 2.67
77 - 79 = 2.33 73 - 76 = 2.0 70 - 72 = 1.67 67 - 69 = 1.33 63 - 66 = 1.0 60 - 62 = .67
Weighted Grading AP Classes will be weighted at 1; honors classes will be weighted at .67.
