From blues to rock and country to Buffett, the band offers a wide repertoire of originals and covers. THE FLOORBOARDS The Floorboards are an American roots rock ensemble hailing from the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. The band marries rock & roll and country roots with the sights and sounds of southern mountain towns. Since forming in Roanoke in 2012, The Floorboards have toured extensively throughout the East Coast, sharing stages with Dwight Yoakam, Trampled by Turtles, Darryl Scott, Tim O’Brien, Yarn, Los Colognes, Royal Southern Brotherhood, Will Overman, and many more. STELLA RUZE Stella Ruze emerged out of Philadelphia in 2014. The band has two studio releases and in June 2016, they released their ‘So Here’ LP featuring eight songs written by Brendan Johnson, lead singer, and performed by the band in their first shows. The band returned to the studio in early 2017 to record a five-song, self-titled EP. Stella Ruze performed a sold-out release show in Philadelphia with co-headliner Josiah Johnson from The Head and The Heart. Prices do not include tax and gratuity.

WHITE WATER EXPERIENCE

Wednesdays | River Riders | $175 per person Enjoy this off-site excursion in Harpers Ferry, WV! We depart the resort at 10:00 a.m. and enjoy three hours on the river. Trip requires a six-person minimum and includes travel to and from River Riders. This is a six-and-a-half-hour trip. Advanced reservations are required.

Learn Virginia’s native wildflowers on a guided walk featuring the grounds at Salamander Resort & Spa! This walk also includes introduction to flower identification using Newcomb’s Guide to Wildflowers and the Flora of Virginia iOS App.

The Loudoun 1725 Gravel Grinder is a scenic bike ride along historic gravel roads in Northern Virginia. Located east of the Blue Ridge, in lush Loudoun Valley, these crushed rock roadways meander through awe inspiring beauty, past stone walls, grand estates, horse farms, wineries, bubbling creeks, tiny hamlets, and significant historical sites. The event starts and finishes at Salamander Resort & Spa. From there, riders embark along a 40, 60, or 80-mile route.
