SEASONAL ACTIVITIES FOREST SOAKING HIKE Sunday, September 15 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
This leisurely 2-hour hike, sponsored by Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy, is designed to give each participant the benefits of being in nature through a contemplative nature walk we are calling Forest Soaking. Our experience, led by yoga instructor Cathy Norman, will take place on a fairly level path in the Salamander Resort forest. The hike will include using all five senses, moments of silence, and will culminate with a brief experience of connecting to nature through the practice of mindful eating. Please leave phones, field glasses, and cameras behind, and bring water and a snack. Limit 15. Registration required through Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy. loudounwildlife.org
