Beatrix Village

A beautiful retirement village, nestled at the foot of the Dandenong Ranges, this spaciously laid out village offers convenience and a secure environment to live independently, in a friendly community.

Our independent living units have been built to provide safe, affordable, attractive accommodation. The village offers a safe and secure environment where residents can choose a private lifestyle, or enjoy the benefits of friendship, support and shared interests within a community of likeminded individuals.

Beatrix Village is home to a range of one and two bedroom units which vary in size and layout. Each unit has a spacious living and dining area, kitchen, built in robes, bathroom, separate toilet and laundry. Each comes with a car park, garden space and ample visitors’ parking within the village. We even provide rental accommodation for short stays to visitors coming from interstate.

The community hall, at the heart of the village, is perfect for social gatherings and celebrations. You can meet with other residents and enjoy social activities, indoor bowling, cards, happy hour and weekly gatherings.

The hall is equipped with a fully commercial kitchen, library and kiosk. The over 50’s seniors club uses the hall for a range of social events.

Should your needs change, MiCare provides community care services that will help you to stay longer and healthier in your unit. Services include personal care, laundry services, nursing assistance, case management, home maintenance, garden maintenance, aged care planning and meal delivery. Beatrix Village is also close to Overbeek Lodge and Margriet Manor, MiCare’s aged care homes, that can offer a constant and elite level of care, when the time comes.

Moving into a MiCare independent living unit allows you to live the kind of lifestyle you’ve always wanted, close to family and friends, in a community you know well

My name is Mala. I am writing to you from Tanna Island in Vanuatu where I live and work for CARE.

I am privileged to be a part of the incredible change CARE’s projects are having here.

We have helped women start businesses, become leaders, and share their knowledge and skills.

Women are working together now to address challenges and build a better future for themselves and their families.

I’ve witnessed so much positive change in the lives of women here in Vanuatu, and I am grateful to all the donors who have made this work possible

I encourage you to join us in supporting women and defeating poverty.

Kind regards,
