A Salesian Lay Missioner Experience
Lay Missioner: Abbie Nolan Mission Assignment: Cambodia “In Salesian schools, kindness is a norm and the role of the educator is to journey alongside their students as they develop standards for success. I resonated so deeply with that mission and the holistic approach to education, and knew from then on that I was right where I was supposed to be.” – Abbie Nolan Since 1981, the Salesian Lay Missioner (SLM) program has trained and deployed over 350 generous volunteers to serve in more than 20 different countries.
