Holloway Hall - Great Hall & Social Room Students receive Preview information packets. A continental breakfast is offered in the Holloway Hall’s Social Room. Students may also get their Gull Card student identification card.

Holloway Hall Auditorium Participants explore ways in which the transition to college impacts parents and students. They also examine strategies parents and students can utilize to enhance this developmental transition so that the college experience becomes academically rewarding and emotionally strengthening. Topics include separation anxiety, emotional adjustment, campus resources and academic strategies.

Off-Campus Housing Fair

Holloway Hall - Great Hall Are you looking for off-campus housing? Don’t know where to start because you are not familiar with the area? Don’t have the time to be running all over town to rental offices? We have your answer! Representatives from various housing complexes who house Salisbury University students, realtors and landlords are all in one location to answer your questions and provide you with information on available housing.

Campus Tour – Leaves from Scarborough Student Leadership Center (Optional)

Preview peer leaders provide a short walking tour of the campus, identifying buildings. (Weather Permitting)

Transfer Student Picnic

Scarborough Student Leadership Center Students and family members reunite after course registration and are invited to a picnic luncheon of BBQ chicken, hamburgers and hot dogs with all the fixings catered by University Dining Services. Don’t miss this opportunity to meet other students and talk with peer leaders.

I like to write, film and hang around SU with my friends. What advice would you give students who are just starting their college career at SU? Become involved and keep an open mind.

Hometown: Clinton, MD Major/Minor: Management/Marketing Activities: Resident Assistant, The Truth, Intramural Sports, Peer Leader What do you like to do in your spare time? I enjoy playing video games, watching movies, basketball and just relaxing. What advice would you give students who are just starting their college career at SU? Focus on school first and everything else will fall into place.

Hometown: Snow Hill, MD Major/Minor: Communication Arts/Dance Activities: SU Dance Company, Peer Leader, Relay For Life, PACE What do you like to do in your spare time? I’m a really outgoing and fun person, so I’m usually up for anything! What advice would you give students who are just starting their college career at SU? Have fun, relax and go to class.

Hometown: Clark, NJ Major/Minor: Business/Economics Activities: Intramural Sports What do you like to do in your spare time? I enjoy sports, hanging out with my friends and participating in SOAP activities. What advice would you give students who are just starting their college career at SU? Make sure you go to class, because that is where you get all the information for your exams.

KIRSTEN TANNEN

Hometown: Fire Island, NY Major/Minor: Communication Arts/Spanish Activities: Phi Eta Sigma, Dean’s List, National Leadership Society What do you like to do in your spare time? I love going to the beach, shopping, concerts, traveling and hanging out with my friends. What advice would you give students who are just starting their college career at SU? Don’t stress. Everyone’s going through the same thing and once everything settles it will be the best time of your life.

Hometown: Chestertown, MD Major/Minor: Business Management/Spanish Activities: SOAP, Saferide and Club Lacrosse What do you like to do in your spare time? I like to hang out with my friends in the quad and go to the beach in Ocean City. What advice would you give students who are just starting their college career at SU? Take advantage of all the activities SU has to offer. It’s the easiest way to meet new people and learn new things.
