We live in a World of information. More and more we depend on the visual translation of data into information as an important part of our everyday life. The term “data” in itself does not constitute communication, but is more accurately defined as raw statistics. As designers we encounter scenarios in which we must convey information in an organized and visual way in order to present messages, ideas, and information. It is because of this that I was asked to create a series of infographics that would display information in a clear, concise, and informative way.i collected data from my peers and used these raw statistics as the content for my information graphics. from these infographics stemmed three poster categories i was to design for: typographic, image based, and non-computer. the outcome was one poster from each category, but as my project grew it became a series of five posters and my image based posters turned into a set of three.
