The second addition to the CitySuites aparthotel collection, CitySuites II, opened in the city centre earlier this year and offers guests the perfect combination of comfort and luxury; the lavish touches of a hotel combined with the space, privacy and relaxation of your own home.

Each of the 142 luxurious apartments, from studios up to threebedroom apartments, has been mindfully designed and contains a fully fitted kitchen with oven, hob and fridge freezer for all your culinary needs. There are also beautiful, bespoke-built bathrooms in every apartment (for bath lovers, like us, the tubs are deep and comfy), complete with wonderful The White Company products to help you prep for the day or night ahead.

There’s a Sky Premium package to be enjoyed as well as ultrafast broadband, Nespresso coffee maker, dishwasher, washing machine and ghd air® hair dryer.

Guests can take advantage of CitySuites II 24-hour gym, so a workout never has to be missed, or they can take a refreshing dip in its tranquil 18-metre pool. For the ultimate in relaxation, head to the spa pool and steam room.

Occupying a prime location in Embankment West, a premium city-centre neighbourhood in the heart of Manchester’s central business district, the CitySuites II is adjacent to the original CitySuites and the Embankment Kitchen restaurant. Embankment Kitchen is the perfect mix of glamour and cosiness, the ideal place for a romantic meal or intimate dinner with friends. To start, we enjoyed crisp yet gooey halloumi fries served with harissa and pomegranate yogurt, and flavoursome curried cauliflower hummus with homemade flatbread, topped with sumac red onions. We can recommend the king prawn linguini and the buttermilk chicken burger for main course options.
