Franklin writes: “The cards, letters, 'phone calls and especially your prayers have been of great comfort ...I take solace from the knowledge that Hilda is now well and at peace in the Heavenly Kingdom" Week of Accompanied Prayer Major Iona Rainer in conjunction with Churches Together in Petts Wood brings the opportunity for any of the corps fellowship to participate in this week of prayer from March 3rd – 9th. The week allows individual support and mentoring in developing devotional life besides opportunities for corporate and focussed prayer. This is a good opportunity to develop our prayer life and may help and encourage Corps initiatives as we look to our own Week of Prayer in November. Details on the notice board or speak to Iona. Corps Family: We continue to remember Major Gill Johnson and Bandmaster Geoff Nunn as they await recovery from their respective illnesses. Major Barbara Webb is now home. Ruth Gbedmah remains in hospital. Cameron Main lost his grandmother 24 January; our sympathies are with him and the family. L/Colonel Sylvia Main was a fine lady and a fine Salvation Army Officer. Major Liv’s sister Anne Grethe is due to have surgery on 7th February; Major Liv will be in Norway to support Anne Grethe and so absent from the Corps for the next few weeks. We welcome to Bromley Temple Commissioners John and Dorita Wainwright and Majors Melvyn and Betty Ackroyd, good to have you in our fellowship. Franklin Gray wishes to sincerely thank all those who have supported him during the past weeks following the Promotion to Glory of his wife, Hilda.
