How many times can you find Basho and Essa?
A Local Delight Discovering Harwood and Bradshaw Millenium wood was a surprise. We strolled along a nice well-trodden circular path through the carpet of last year’s oak leaves. The wood was full of sunshine and birdsong. A Report on the Last Meeting The morning meeting was a lively one. Lots of photos were shown to begin with and the chat was about haiga or just using any photos with shortform. Elaine brought two haibun she wrote locally so it may have been nice to see photos of the trees she described. We ended with a discussion as to whether Landay should or should not be written with a British voice. Small group and small poems make me feel alive. EPM Š (a group member)

Today's journey showed me catkins, lime green, russet and red. White snowdrops, gold and purple crocus, bright yellow daffodils and red tulips. Creamy white almond blossom, pale pink cherry blossom and the biggest surprise of all, hawthorn in leaf. Green.

Images created just with a gel pen and lines accompany each cinquain, they are unplanned pictures - conceptual art, it is amazing what you see in them after reading the relative cinquain. A great kindle book to share, neither too long or too short and could never really be seen as out dated, it made me pick up a gel pen for both poetry and picture.
