CAUSES OF ENDANGERED ANIMALS
The diverse causes of endangered animals are usually identified according to the origin and type of activity that is generating the degrading effects for the species; knowing that the action of man is totally undeniable in all categories of animal loss. Biological or natural causes Within the natural processes that have caused the disintegration and extinction of different animal species and that put many in danger today; they are usually the age of life or aging; the diseases that may appear in them; parasitism and even competition with other species in different types of activities. Naturally occurring catastrophes From fires, to droughts, volcanoes and hurricanes are catastrophes that despite being initiated by nature; they leave an important consequence in the animals and it is their extinction by elimination of complete families during the events of the massive catastrophes. Although they are usually rare events because they do not occur every day; if they are serious because of the immense number of species that it eliminates from the same moment; taking away any opportunity to play the role of reproduction and combat extinctions Causes generated by the activity of man These are the causes that cover the majority of those coming to get animals in danger of extinction; being those such as stalking the environment through pollution activities; no recycling; overexploitation of natural resources, as well as logging. Each of these activities; it has an impact on the health of the environment and with it the living beings that are in the middle of each of the ecosystems; having greater consequences of danger; Animal species With all this, hunting is very timely when you want to find a culprit in relation to animals in extinction; It is the majority cause that man generates directly to kill species and that is fully intentional. This is how it has been determined that the maximum responsible when it comes to talking about animals in danger of extinction is man; since it alters the integrity of habitats at all times; wet or dry and in any season; resulting in the decrease and loss of many important animal species for the conservation of the food chain in all its ranges.

MAMMOTH
They were animals that lived in different climatic zones, very similar to elephants but with curved and much longer fangs. Mammoths that lived on warm ground had larger ears, while those with cold weather were hairier. Thanks to the cave painting, it has been discovered that the mammoths had a hunched back probably due to a fat hump. In prehistory the human being hunted mammoths and used his fangs to make ornaments and weapons, but it is considered that these animals were extinguished by a set of factors. Among them is climate change. There were numerous subspecies of mammoths so it is difficult to determine when they were finally extinguished since some subspecies were extinguished first than others. It is considered that the human being was an important cause of extinction, of the mammoth, although it was a ver

SPIX'S MACAW
This bird is extinct in its wild habitat, plus several specimens still live in zoos around the world. It is originally from Brazil. Its fur is blue and the wings of its tail are black. The causes of its extinction are the loss of habitat and climate change, both caused by humans. In the animated films Rio and Rio 2 the main characters Blue and Pearl are macaws. It is expected that someday these birds can be reintroduced to their natural habitat
4
BLACK RHINOCEROS OF WEST AFRICA
This subspecies of black rhinoceros was considered the rarest of all. In September 2011 it was officially declared extinct since the scientific expeditions could not find any in their natural habitat in Cameroon, in addition there is no specimen of the animal in captivity. The cause of its extinction is hunting to collect ivory.
5
IRISH ELK OR GIANT DEER These animals lived for half a million years and are considered the largest deer (family of the animal kingdom of deer and deer). They lived throughout Europe and Asia, but like most copies have been found in Ireland, so the scientific community baptized them as Irish. The most important cause of its extinction was a series of climatic changes that severely affected its natural habitat.
6
CARIBBEAN MONK SEAL
This Caribbean mammal, of the family of the focids, was declared extinct in 1994 after multiple scientific expeditions failed in its search. It could measure up to 2.40 meters in length and weigh up to 130 kg. Christopher Columbus was the first recorded contact with this animal, although logically this animal was known to the native peoples of America. Spanish settlers hunted this animal to use their body fat and skin. Although the animal is considered periodically extinct in Jamaica and Haiti, they say they have seen it. Its only predators were the Caribbean shark and man. It became extinct due to indiscriminate hunting, although in the twentieth century it was also affected by the pollution of the Caribbean waters.
7
MEGATHERIUMAMERICANUM This gigantic Pleistocene animal lived in territories of the American continent. In Argentina most of its fossils have been found. The first was found by Fray Manuel de Torres in 1795. Today this place has been converted into a Museum. It is considered that this animal became extinct during the last glaciation 12-10,000 years ago. His bones were much more robust than those of a modern elephant. His closes living relative is considered to be the lazy one. The French naturalist George Cuvier developed the scientific description of this giant.
8
PORK FEET BANDICUT their main exterminatorsThis Australian boiling became extinct in the mid-twentieth century. Thomas Mitchell in 1836 captured the first specimen near the Murray and Murrumbidgee rivers. Few scientists had the opportunity to see this animal so there is not much known about it. Its size was similar to that of a cat, it lived in different habitats and was characterized by having very thin legs with few fingers. The fox and the rabbit are considered
9
MONK SEAL
This seal species became extinct in the 50's. The cause of its disappearance is linked to human activities. It was heavily hunted to extract its fat and use it as an oil for different machinery. Among them, lamps. This indiscriminate hunting caused the extinction of the monk seal. Currently, the Mediterranean seal - which belongs to the same family - is also in danger of extinction.
10
ELEPHANT BIRD
This type of bird was originally from Madagascar. It was large. It reached up to three meters high and could weigh 550 kilos. It became extinct between the 17th and 18th centuries. Although the cause is not certain, it is presumed that its disappearance is linked to the hunting activities carried out by humans.
11
MOA
Among the animals that no longer exist, is this species of bird that became extinct in 1400. It was original from New Zealand. Although he could not fly, it stood out for its size. It could measure from the size of a rooster, to reach three meters in height. It was hunted by the local population and eventually disappeared.
CONSEQUENCES OF ENDANGERED ANIMALS 12
Among the important consequences of endangered animals, the imminent changes in the ecosystem as a whole are considered; bringing up the imbalance of other species thereby decreasing the quality of the food chain; which involves all types of animals that are found in different habitats. It is known that once a species becomes extinct, the entire ecosystem is gradually affected causing the remaining in the environment; are affected in all its aspects, not only by the food that the chain entails in each species; but also for the changes that occur at the level of the surrounding resources and the maintenance of the vitality of each one. Among the consequences of endangered animals are: • Loss of genetic diversity This aspect has an authentic relationship in terms of increasing the vulnerability of species; as well as all animals and other habitat components when it comes to aspects such as hunting; population changes suddenly and much more. It is the increase in the vulnerability of species; what causes that the different types of elements that compose the environments feel totally subtracted
before the risks that the hunting implies; species elimination traits not only for plant components, but also for wildlife. • Complete extinction of species With the passing of time and the damages that are caused in the environment; the species plus their extinction are taking over those areas where biodiversity is most involved among the different processes that affect the environments, from hunting; until the felling and burning in many cases, limiting the vitality of each of the beings that are part of the food chain of life. • Human evolution Anthropogenic processes are part of the consequences generated by animals in danger of extinction; it is one of the means that makes every human being seize the different processes of evolution to survive through food difficulties; as well as continuing to advance the development of all humanity without being limited by the precarious appearance of species used for food over the years. • Rapid destruction of the ecosystem Regardless of which ecosystem it is; direct involvement as a product of endangered animals and their partial or total absence; what will create is that diverse environments are formed around the world
but with little biodiversity; limiting the vital capacities and the optimal characteristics that make the planet have life within it. It is a situation that can generally be seen in the tropics much more than in the other regions and at the same time has had a much greater advance in a period of 20 to 30 years; respectively.
