Prewire Steps

Big Screen Adventure

Notes Refer to the wire list and floor plan pages while working through these steps. Make sure all electrical work is complete before low voltage wires are run. Stay 2-3' away from electrical wiring and intersect at 90 degrees. Check mark each box as you complete a task. Subcontractor Coordination Provide electrical power at both the LHE and SUB locations. Provide Ethernet connection at LHE. Provide wall bracing at side display location. Must support 55 lbs. Remove a section of drywall and replace it with plywood. This section should be a span of at least 4 studs wide. Prewiring Mount wall boxes. Refer to floor plan page. Run wires. Refer to wire list page. Label wires as you go. Wire labels should be 6" from end of the wire. Leave no less than 3' of wire at each device location. Leave 8' of wire at the LHE. Secure all wiring. Wrap wires at LHE with a plastic bag to protect labels from paint. Check off wire list by inspecting each wire.
