Prewire Steps
Hidden Theater
Notes Refer to the wire list and floor plan pages while working through these steps. Make sure all electrical wiring work is complete before low voltage wires are run. Keep Low Voltage wiring 2 to 3' away from electrical wiring and intersect at 90 degrees. Check mark each box as you complete a task.
Subcontractor Coordination Provide electrical power at the LHE location. Note that sub uses Panamax inwall device for power. Reinforce the wall at the Crestron display location Replace the drywall with plywood that spans at least 4 studs
Prewiring Mount wall boxes. Refer to floor plan page. Run wires. Install RFX150 in ceiling and run wire to LHE Refer to wire list page. Check off wire list by inspecting each wire. Label wires as you go. Wire labels should be 6" from end of the wire. Leave no less than 3' of wire at each device location. Leave no less than 8' of wire at the LHE. Secure all wiring. Wrap wires at LHE with a plastic bag to protect labels from paint.
