IS AN

INGREDIENT FOR EYE HEALTH

These days, Omega-3 fatty acids seem to be everywhere we turn—from the foods we eat which are fortified with Omega-3, to the endless fishoil supplements we’re offered. Does this mean that adequate intake of Omega-3s is important for your health? Absolutely—Omega-3 fatty acids are essential to the health of your body generally and your eyes as well.

Omega-3 fatty acids are essential to the health of your body generally and your eyes as well.

Essential fatty acids are essential nutrients, meaning that your body cannot manufacture them without dietary intake. They are required for the optimal functioning of cells, tissues and organs all over the body. These nutrients provide vibrant, moist, clear skin, protect us from cancer and cardiovascular diseases such as heart attacks and strokes; regulate heartbeat; and establish the basis for proper functioning of the brain, and clear vision from birth to old age. The anti-inflammatory effects of Omega-3 fatty acids benefit the delicate tissues and blood vessels of your eyes in a number of ways: for example, by moistening dry eyes and by protecting you against age-related macular degeneration (AMD)—the leading cause of visual disability and blindness in Canadians over 50 years of age. eye health

OMEGA-3 IS AN ESSENTIAL INGREDIENT FOR EYE HEALTH

Two types of Omega-3 fatty acids play essential roles in the human retina: DHA (docohexanoic acid) and EPA (eicopentanoic acid). The retina is the thin, light-sensitive layer of tissue at the back of each eye. It acts like the film in a camera: images come through the eye’s lens and are focused on the retina. The retina then converts these images and transmits them to many different parts of the brain. The photoreceptor cells (and brain cells) rely on DHA as the basic buildingblock Omega-3 molecule for healthy cells. Aging and poor diet can lead to inflamed eyelids, dry eyes and retinal degeneration. Intake of Omega-3s leads to better eye health and better vision, and helps prevent the previously mentioned diseases. The best dietary source of Omega-3s is typically deepocean cold-water oily fish. Canada’s Food Guide recommends two servings per week of char, herring, salmon, mackerel or sardines, as shown in the table below. There are also abundant Omega-3s in lake trout.

Fish with highest levels of Omega-3 Type of fish

It is far more difficult to obtain sufficient Omega 3s from alternative fish types, as the following table illustrates:

Fish with lowest levels of Omega-3 Type of fish Pacific halibut Atlantic cod Haddock Perch Red grouper Sole

Omega-3 per serving 400 mg 300 mg 200 mg 200 mg 200 mg 100 mg

2 servings (1 week) 800 mg 600 mg 400 mg 400 mg 400 mg 200 mg

On average, Canadians consume only 75% of their recommended fish servings per week. Many Canadians do not eat any of the recommended fish types ever. This can be especially dangerous for pregnant women.

Not everyone enjoys eating fish and some are concerned about mercury and the toxin polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB), which is now known to be present in larger fish. A good solution is to take an Omega-3 supplement on a daily basis. Whether you are taking a multivitamin or an eye-specific vitamin formulation, ensure that it contains Omega-3 as an ingredient.

Which Vitamins Do Eyes Require?

EYECAREDAILY.COM

Have you ever noticed that the older your car gets, the more maintenance and upkeep it requires? The doors creak when they open, and the car needs a little extra oil between oil changes. The same holds true for our bodies: the older we get the more upkeep and support our bodies require. Of course, we cannot simply replace our bodies with new models! The good news is that by looking after your body now, you’ll enjoy better health as you age. There are many steps you can take to help maintain Many of the nutrients that promote healthy eyes are long-term eye health as you age. Exercise improves also good for the entire body, but certain nutrients blood circulation, which increases oxygen levels are especially important for eye health. to the eyes, and removes toxins. Sleep and rest keep your body young and vital. Antioxidant-rich foods promote eye health; studies have shown that antioxidants and other vitamins and minerals may help to slow or prevent diseases by neutralizing free radicals. Free radicals are unstable molecules that form during the course of normal metabolism or due to exposure to pollutants such as cigarette smoke. Left unchecked, they can damage cells in the eye, “TO CONSUME AN EYE-HEALTHY which may lead to conditions that affect vision, such as cataracts and age-related macular degeneration DIET, CHOOSE FOODS RICH (AMD). Many antioxidants are attained through diet IN ANTIOXIDANTS LIKE alone. To consume an eye-healthy diet, choose foods rich in antioxidants like vitamins C and E, zinc, lutein, zeaxanthin, and Omega-3 fatty acids. Foods that are high in these nutrients include leafy green vegetables, orange peppers, eggs and fish. These foods will promote the health of the macula, the part of the eye responsible for central vision.

VITAMIN C

ZINC

Vitamin C is a powerful water-soluble antioxidant that promotes healthy bones, skin and blood vessels, and helps the immune system to work properly. It is also crucial to the health of the cornea and the retinal capillaries. Because vitamin C cannot be made by our bodies and is eliminated quite rapidly, it is essential that we consume it several times each day. Vitamin C levels in the eye are much higher than in the rest of our body. The best food sources of vitamin C are fruits and vegetables, especially peppers, leafy green vegetables, kiwis and citrus fruits. This vitamin, however, is one of the most difficult to get in large quantities from foods alone. You can ensure vitamin C intake through supplements, which are common and safe.

Zinc is an essential trace mineral that occurs in very high concentration in the eye. It is essential for oxidation and metabolism, and protects against AMD. Dietary sources of zinc include meat, seafood, shellfish, nuts and whole grains. Many people, particularly the elderly, do not achieve the recommended dietary allowance for zinc through diet alone.

VITAMIN E Vitamin E is a fat-soluble antioxidant that can help to protect the eye from the effects of free radicals. It is found in high co n c e nt rat i o n s in the retina and has eight different chemical forms; the most widely studied form is alphaTocopherol. Food sources of vitamin E include nuts, seeds, vegetable oils and eggs.

LUTEIN AND ZEAXANTHIN Lutein and zeaxanthin are naturally occurring compounds known as xanthophylls, which are yellow pigments found in many plants and vegetables. They are abundant in the central part of the retina, the macula, and are important to the retina because they absorb blue light. Exposure to blue and UV light can cause damage to the cells in the retina and increase the risk of AMD. Our bodies cannot make lutein and zeaxanthin so we must obtain them through foods and supplements. Food sources include dark-green leafy vegetables, orange peppers, fruit and egg yolks.

“OUR BODIES CANNOT MAKE LUTEIN AND ZEAXANTHIN SO WE MUST OBTAIN THEM THROUGH FOODS AND SUPPLEMENTS. 22

OMEGA-3 FATTY ACIDS Omega-3 fatty acids are polyunsaturated fatty acids that have anti-inflammatory effects and are necessary for proper bodily functioning. Three important Omega-3 fatty acids are DHA (docosahexaenoic acid), EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and ALA (alpha-linolenic acid). In the body, ALA is converted to DHA and EPA but the yield of EPA and DHA derived from ALA in the body is low. The typical North American diet contains more Omega-6 fatty acids—unsaturated fatty acids that promote inflammation—than Omega-3 fatty acids. Scientists agree that most people need to consume more Omega-3s and fewer Omega-6s to promote good health. The recommended ratio for Omega-6 to Omega-3 is 2:1, whereas the average North American consumes a diet with a ratio of approximately 10:1 or higher.

EYECAREDAILY.COM

Omega-3 fatty acids can help prevent heart disease, and may be beneficial in rheumatoid arthritis and neurological conditions such as dementia. Taken regularly in the diet, they can help decrease the risk of AMD and dry-eye syndrome. DHA and EPA are found in oily fish, especially coldwater fish, such as salmon, sardines, mackerel, tuna and rainbow trout. ALA is a plant-derived Omega-3 fatty acid that is found in flaxseed and walnuts.

All of these nutrients are available in a variety of foods, and can also be obtained in the form of vitamins and mineral supplements. When selecting an eye vitamin, look for one that includes the following ingredients: vitamins C and E, zinc, copper, lutein, zeaxanthin and Omega-3 fatty acids. Your eye doctor can recommend an appropriate brand.

Makeup for

glasses

You guys may not know this, but I have been wearing glasses since the first grade. I think that is when I was 6 or something. So yup, Iv had the pleasure of having glass infront of my eyes since about 20 years now. Thankfully, my power is relatively low still (touch wood!) , so most times I can go without glasses wherever I need to (though I know I’m not supposed to). However, if you do wear glasses and find that eye makeup is a waste of time this quick guide may help you.

26

WWW.EYECAREDAILY.COM | SEPTEMBER 2014

EYECAREDAILY.COM

Eye Makeup Rules

1. Try colors on your lower rim not upper rim: When you wear glasses your eyelid pretty much gets covered by the top frame. However your lower rim is in direct vision. Putting a nice turquoise can be a fun look. Check out this tutorial on a similar bronze and turquoise look I did. 2. A cat eyeliner is a great way to make your eyes pop: If your frames are wide, then having a cute little kitten flick is a great way to make your eyes pop and really do the talking. It instantly draws attention and makes for a cute, chic look! 3. Your eyeliner thickness should be in proportion to the thickness of your frame: Like subtle, thin lines of liner? Well if you have a chunky frame for your glasses this aint going to work. Thicker frames= thicker eyeliner. 4. Eyebrows are extremely important: Your eyebrows, if arched and shaped well can immediately bring attention to your otherwise hidden eyes. Check out Keiko Lynn’s photograph above- her eyeliner is highly arched and brings attention to her face. Personally I love a pointy arch with glasses, I just feels the more arched and shapely you can make it, the better it looks above your frame. WWW.EYECAREDAILY.COM | SEPTEMBER 2014

SONAKSHI SINHA

Why Does Everyone Look Hotter in Sunglasses? And now, Science of Us attempts to unravel the answers to a summertime question of monumental importance: Why does nearly everyone instantly look more attractive with sunglasses on?

shades delude us into feeling more anonymous, or unknown. It’s colloquial wisdom that an air of mystery increases sexual desire, and research bears that notion out. Think of the common “the thrill is gone” complaint that accompanies the long-term relationship, for one. And one recent study showed that women who were uncertain of a man’s feelings toward them ended up reporting more attraction to those men. It’s essentially the plot of many a rom-com: We’re drawn to the people we can’t quite figure out.

You know you’re at least a little curious. And so was Vanessa Brown, a senior lecturer of art and design at Nottingham Trent University in the U.K. Her research focuses on the meaning we assign to commonplace, everyday objects, and in an academic book that’s coming out early next year, she explores the cultural and psychological relationship between sunglasses and our modern idea of “cool.” In an email to Science of Us, Brown explained what her research has uncovered about why most of us look better in shades. As an added bonus, Because they really do make your misshapen face look better. Put on a pair of sunglasses, and voilà – instant symmetry! The dark lenses cover up any asymmetrical oddities around your eyes, and research on facial attractiveness shows a clear link between symmetry and our perception of beauty.

Brown pointed out, sunglasses provide a kind of scaffolding effect, imposing the appearance of an external, extra-chiseled bone structure on top of your relatively softer-featured face.

Because mystery. Many of the snap judgments we form about people come from looking them in the eyes; shade yours, and you’re instantly a more intriguing presence. “The eyes are such a tremendous source of information — and vulnerability — for the human being,” Brown explained. Eye contact helps us form judgments about someone’s intelligence, confidence, and sincerity, and sunglasses keep us literally in the dark about forming those perceptions about a person. And it works both ways, because the wearer of the sunglasses feels more inscrutable, too. One recent study showed that people who wore sunglasses acted more selfishly and dishonestly than those wearing eyeglasses, which, the researchers argue, suggests that

EYECAREDAILY.COM

Because of their historical link with edginess and glamour. We take their ubiquity for granted today, but sunglasses are a relatively modern everyday accessory, Brown said. Sales started to pick up in the 1920s, but they didn’t become commonplace until about two decades after that. The way sunglasses were most often used prior to their commercialization helps explain some of their inherent coolness, Brown said, because in their early days sunglasses were primarily used during risky water and snow sports, and were also associated with new technologies like airplane travel, which made them seem “daring and thoroughly modern.”

Soon after that, Hollywood stars of the 1950s and 1960s started wearing sunglasses to defend themselves from being recognized by the public or harassed by paparazzi, whose flashbulbs would often explode violently, sometimes literally in their faces, Brown said. But regardless of practicality, movie stars’ adoption of the accessory cemented the link between sunglasses and glamour. Also – and this is more from my own personal research than Brown’s — hang-overs. They’re really great for hiding hang-overs. WWW.EYECAREDAILY.COM | SEPTEMBER 2014

You should also apply various cosmetics after putting contact lenses in your eyes, such as lotions and eye cosmetics like eye shadow. Avoid eye drops while using lenses or ask to your eye care professional before applying them. Always buy eye lenses from a reputed eyewear store.

Do not keep your lenses in your mouth for wetting them as saliva isn’t a sterile solution. Do not wear lenses when you are swimming or playing any water sports. Do not wear eye lenses of various brands. Besides, do not rub contacts with tissue, shirt or towel as the lens could be scratched. Do not keep your lenses in hot spots such as window sills, hot sand, etc. since they can melt and warp. Women should not apply eyeliner on top of the lower lash line as it will block glands, which create the tear film making eye lens wear softer. These are some major do’s and don’ts that every contact lens wearer must follow before and after wearing lenses as these tips will help them not only in protecting their eyes but also save their lenses. 10Girls Love to Have Accessories

About a year ago, the New York Times reported how the accessory market has become the only way to make money in the fashion industry and how this sector is earning relatively more revenue and growing more than the apparel market. This got very clearly reflected in the behaviour of the entrepreneurs of the fashion market. Elle decided to launch its accessory line, Victoria Beckham went ahead to launch her new eye wear line and so on. In 2011, Project Runway also saw how the accessories are trending fast and created Project Accessory. Earlier, fashion design students wished for a career like Marc Jacobs or Michael Kors, but now their role models are leading accessory designers like Pamela Love and Brian Atwood. But what made the tables turn? Why this sudden hype about accessories? There are many reasons why this has happened. With the fluctuations in the economy, the income changed; but the need to look presentable didn’t. Hence, the accessories came to the rescue. Accessories are what make an outfit complete. Team up your plainJane outfit with different accessories and you can get completely different looks for different occasions. Accessories are to an outfit what adjectives are to a sentence- they make it look beautiful and interesting. The cherry on the cake is that the accessories are cheaper than clothes! So if you are planning to change your look, you don’t need to buy a lot of clothes, just experiment with accessories! Apart from this, the kind of accessories someone is donning can tell a lot about that individual`s personality. The accessories are versatile, like the protagonist of any movie! With accessories performing so many functions, no wonder girls love to have them! Following is the list of the most desirable ones:

10) Head gear: Head gear might include hair bands, clips and hats. In fact, hair themselves are a kind of accessory and different hairstyles give you different looks. Hair bands and clips can add beauty to your hair styles. On the other hand, when you are having a bad hair day or you just want to protect your hair from the scorching Sun, a nice hat can always save you and make you look trendy. A hat can add the element of mystery to your outfit. Hats have become a style statement after the wedding of Kate Middleton to Prince William. In short, hats are hot!

9) Belt: You might have seen people (or even at times, yourself) taking time to search for a matching belt. Apart from keeping your trousers and jeans at place, an appropriate belt can add another dimension to your outfit, a good one. It doesn’t necessarily have to be matching to your shoes or bag. A sleek belt around your dress or a chunky-funky one to go with your regular shirt and jeans can improve the way your outfit looks, or the way you look in your outfit!

8) Wrist wears: With so many bollywood songs describing the wrists of the actresses and their wrist wears, I don’t think I need to list those dangling bangles, bright bracelets and the wrist watches. Though glass bangles might be becoming obsolete, you may see the metallic ones still in trend. Bangles are both traditional as well as trendy, and I guess India is the birth place of this accessory. Bracelets are evergreen, though the designs might have changed over time. They come in a variety of designs, shapes and are made of different materials. Apart from ornamental purpose, different bracelets have different purposes. You can see everyone wearing friendship bracelets during the friendship week. People also wear bracelets to show support for some cause. Some bracelets also claim to have positive effects on the physical and mental health of a person. Even watches for women sometimes look more like elegant bracelets and do more than just helping you keep up with time, they help keep you up with style, too.

7) Neck-pieces: The neck pieces probably have been in existence since the Stone Age. Necklaces, pendants, lockets are being worn by both men and women since a very long time. (Proves that we had fashionable ancestors!). There are different types of necklaces according to their length like choker, princess, matinee, opera necklaces etc. Necklaces are categorised on the basis of their shape too. The pearl necklace is the all time classic and adds elegance to your outfit. Necklaces also signify tradition as well as trend. People can be seen wearing religious lockets and pendants all around the globe. So, I guess necklaces are all time wonders! WWW.EYECAREDAILY.COM | SEPTEMBER 2014

41

6) Eye wear: If you wear vision correcting spectacles it is important that it complements you well because you are going to wear it every day. It is all a game of frames and luckily there is a wide range of frames that you can choose from. Also, sunglasses are totally in vogue (provided you don’t wear them indoors). They protect you from Sun and make you look stylish. The easiest way to go glam!

5) Scarves: Scarves are another trend setters these days. Though they are worn in winters for warmth, they spruce up the outfit, irrespective of the weather. What’s more, they can double up as belts too. The best thing is, which goes for almost all the accessories, is that one size fits all. You can combine them with almost all the outfits. Scarves and stoles can make your bland look interesting and are real show stoppers.

4) Finger Rings or Rings: Rings also serve many purposes. Some wear stone studded rings because some astrologer suggested them to do so, some wear it for luck, some have their initials engraved on their ring, some wear it for the sake of a memory and some wear it because they enhance the beauty of their hands. You might also have day dreamed of buying yourself a solitaire diamond ring, didn’t you? Traditionally made of metal, but can be of various other materials. Rings also signify a lot of things and there are rings for varied occasions – from wedding ring to mourning ring, cocktail rings to sports rings! Rings also have a long past, and they have not gone out of fashion! 42

WWW.EYECAREDAILY.COM | SEPTEMBER 2014

3) Earrings: EYECAREDAILY.COM

Because of the close proximity of the ears to your face, after the eye wear the earrings are the most noticeable accessories and also they affect your appearance. Changing your earrings can completely change the way you look. Like all accessories, these come in various designs ad are made up of different kinds of material. The earrings range from studs to dangles, from plain rings to fancy jhumkas. The sparkling earrings add spark to your appearance too!

2) Wallets/ Purses/ Bags: Wallets, purses and bags are also very much sought after. Girls love handbags because apart from acting as an accessory, they act as storage too – they can keep all that they need to carry for the day in their bags and at the same time look trendy! Wallets, clutches, purses, bags- they are versatile accessories!

1) Footwear: Okay, I’ll do the crime of classifying footwear as accessories, though I know they are not something additional, something you can do without; but an absolutely necessary part of a person`s wardrobe. Marilyn Monroe rightly said – “ Give a girl the right shoes, and she can conquer the world. “ There are many celebrities who have a fetish for shoes and I can completely understand their sentiments behind it. Choosing the right pair of shoes that fits well and is comfortable is very important. Footwear ranges from shoes to heels, wedges to pumps, sport shoes to flip flops – in every style, for every occasion. With the shoes you love, you feel active as a deer and feel confident enough to conquer the world (Well, this is what some advertisements for footwear claim!). Above all, smile is the best accessory that you can wear!

10 TIPS TO CHOOSE

THE RIGHT

GLASSES FOR YOUR

EYES If you’ve been wearing glasses for a while, you know how difficult buying the perfect pair is. It isn’t just about the looks. It is about the fit, the right shape and lots more. Here is a guide on buying the right pair.

50

WWW.EYECAREDAILY.COM | SEPTEMBER 2014

slipping off of the glasses, and non-centered alignment of the lenses. Moreover the material that the arms are made of also matter. Some people experience an allergy to metal arms, while others might be allergic to plastic. In some people this allergy might not manifest immediately, but with dirt and sweat getting trapped between the skin and the arms, it can lead to an allergic reaction. EYECAREDAILY.COM

1. Choose the size of the frame wisely: The rule of thumb is that the frame should not be too small or too large for the face. In the case of small frames, your field of vision will extend beyond the lenses which can lead to your prescription power increasing. A frame that is too big can be heavy and uncomfortable. Another downside of such frames is that they tend to make your eyes look smaller than normal. To test if you have the right type of frames, you should not be able to see out of the top, bottom or the sides of the frames without straining to look through those areas. Your lenses should cover about 80 to 90% of your field of vision. 2. Consider the distance between your eyes and the thickness of the bridge of your nose: This is an important aspect because apart from making the glasses look aesthetically pleasing, it also helps the you see better. Although the width of the bridge in frames is standardized, your optometrist will measure the distance between your eyes and the thickness of the bridge of your nose to give you a better fit. The right distance between the lenses helps reduce strain on the eyes, stops the glasses from slipping down the nose while working, does not apply too much pressure on the inner portion of the eye and prevents the bridge of the frames from resting directly on your forehead. All these factors are important since glasses that don’t fit properly can lead to several issues like marks on the skin around the eyes and nose, headaches and trouble in the production of tears in the eyes. 3. The arms of the glasses should not be too tight or loose: Spectacles (1)Tight arms could lead to headaches or pain behind the ears (caused due to excess pressure exerted by the arms of the frames) and marks along the side of the face. Loose arms can lead to constant

4. Make sure your glasses are centre aligned properly: A very important aspect while choosing the right set of frames is the center alignment, which helps you see accurately. Center alignment of glasses means that the lense is right in front of your eyes. This helps you see clearly, without straining your eyes. Since most eyeglass lenses are ground concavely on the inner surface and convex on the outer surface, it is always better to see out of the center of the lenses. Distorted or frames that tilt towards one side can cause eye strain and in some case cause an increase in the optometric defect. 5. Choose the right material for the lens: There are basically two types of materials – one made of glass, and the other (unbreakable version) made of a type of plastic. The benefits of an unbreakable lens is that it can be used without much fear of breaking. Mainly used for children and those who use their glasses particularly roughly, it is also lighter than the glass version. Glass lenses are a more delicate version of the plastic lens. Earlier they were the only type available, and were mostly used for bifocal lenses, but today with the advent of advances in the manufacture of lenses, a plastic one can be used to make bifocal lenses as well. 6. Bifocals or progressive lenses, choose wisely: In bifocals (a type of glass used for people suffering from a condition called hypermetropia*) a portion of the glass has a semi circular demarcation at the bottom of the lens –this helps people see near objects clearly. If you do have such a condition, you can now opt for progressive lenses, that function like bifocals but do not have the unsightly semicircle at the bottom, and are easier to see though since one does not need to readjust their vision every time they want to see something close to them. While choosing the type of lens you would like to use, WWW.EYECAREDAILY.COM | SEPTEMBER 2014

51

make sure you choose one that you prefer and are comfortable with. *Hypermetropia is a condition where a person finds it difficult to see near as well as distant objects. 7. Choose the right nose pads: It may seem inconsequential but nose pads play an important role in making your glass wearing experience comfortable. They should ideally be made of soft plastic and rest comfortably on the nose. They should not be too tight or too loose. The pad arm and pad plate should be adjusted so that they do not press down on the nose. Another factor is that certain people may be allergic to particular materials used to make nose pads. Now days there are nose pads that protect one against allergic reactions. Nose pads also help align the glasses to the centre of the face and keep the lenses away from your eyelashes. It is important that your eyelashes do not touch the lenses, because this not only is uncomfortable while you blink, it is also bad for your eyes and can lead to excessive eye strain. An indication that either the nose pads are too tight or that the glasses are too heavy is the formation of a mark on either side of the bridge of the nose. 8. Choose size before style:

52

Make sure you ask your optometrist to measure your frame size before you order the glasses. They must be made or altered to your dimensions. Measuring the frame size includes 4 main measurements – eye, bridge, temple and vertical measurements. The eye measurement is the amount of distance between the eyes or the distance between the frames lenses. The bridge measurement is the portion between the eyes, and the temple measurement is the distance from one side of your face to the other(measured from the area right above the ears). The vertical measurement is used only in the case of bifocal lenses, and is a bit complex to measure. These dimensions play an important role in making your glasses fit your face perfectly, helping you use the glasses comfortably. Every frame has measurements, yours can be found on the inner side of your frames (either on the arms or the bridge). The first, two digit number, is the eye measurement, the next number separated by a square or dash indicates your bridge length and the third three digit number indicates the temple distance. Take a look, it’s interesting to find. WWW.EYECAREDAILY.COM | SEPTEMBER 2014

9. The lighter the better: This is important because heavy frames tend to cause headaches or fatigue of the eyes. They are also more likely to slip off the nose often. That doesn’t mean that one has to stick to plastic frames all their life. There are frames made of titanium which are much lighter and tougher when compared to other types of frames. 10. Choose scratch-proof and anti-glare glasses: Lenses that are made of glass or plastic should be scratch-proof. Not only are scratches unsightly, they also distort vision and lead to eye strain. Antiglare glasses help reduce the glare that comes off a computer screen or other electronic devices like smartphones. Getting them is wise because it reduces the strain that your eye go through from sitting in front of the computer screens for long periods of time.Interested in buying glasses?
