Persona 1: Jenny Weaver is a nineteen year old freshman, studying textiles at the University of Kansas. Before moving to college a few of her friends suggested renting a house on Ohio Street and splitting the rent. After talking it over with her parents she decided getting a house would work out best. Shortly after her first semester started Jenny became bored and lonely. She was getting tired of hanging out with her friends and wanted to connect with other KU students. She was also tired of her mundane routine of going to class and going home. She kept thinking how things would have been different if she would have lived in a dorm on Daisy Hill. Instead of breaking her rent contract Jenny decided to change up her schedule and look for an organization to join. In her high school yearbook she was the girl in the front row of various club photos that she was active in. While her work load was light and her parents paying for her first-year rent she browsed the KU website in search of an organization. Jenny was never very coordinated or much into politics so she continued to scroll. Then she found the one, Spencer Student Advisory Board, it coordinates with the Spencer Museum of Art which Jenny frequently visited to escape her loud roommates. They met once every two weeks which would give her an opportunity to search for a job on the side. When she arrived at her first meeting she was delighted to see that they ordered pizza which she found out was common at their meetings. Just like in elementary school they went around the room and introduced each other. Jenny stated her name and said that she joined the organization to get more involved and the crowd, love it. After the meeting she socialized with fellow members and decided to fully join the organization. Days later as Jenny was walking through the art and design building she was stopped by members of SSAB and they made plans to visit the art center downtown that following weekend. Jenny Weaver the lonely freshman artist who wants to get involved.

Persona 2: Nathan Smith is a fifty five year old alumni of the University of Kansas and has two wonderful grandchildern Adam and Isabella. Adam is a sixteen and like to plays baseball while Isabella is fourteen and like chocolate cupcakes. Every other weekend Nathan tries to entertain his grandchildren by taking them to varies parks around town and plays kickball or frisbee with them. Since Nathan has recently had knee problems he can not be as active with his grandchildren as he once was. Nathan starts to take them out for lunch and tells them stories of when he was in college. One weekend Nathan takes them to Pizza Hut downtown Lawrence and orders Isablla’s favorite pinnapple pizza. After the meal they walk down Massachusetts Street because Adam wants to buy Legos at the toy store with his allowance. When they head over to the cash register Nathan notices a poster on a corkboard. The poster is advertising a tour at the Spencer Art Museum which would be perfect for the next time he has the grandchildren. Nathan figured that visiting the musuem would both be entertaining and educational for Adam and Isabella. After the tour they discover that there is a children’s program and sign up to join. Later, Isabella becomes very interested in art and decides to major in Interior Design at the University of Kansas. Nathan Smith takes grandchildren to the Spencer Art Museum.
