Project: Consult’N GO Issue: Consultancy in Business and Development. Description: Working with mid-sized NGOs in Turkey, the project aims to develop their performance through providing management consultancy. With a cooperation with AIESEC, international interns with management background are coming from different countries to develop topics like Structure, Marketing, Human Resources, Finance Structure, Financial Business Model (for a Social Sustainable organization), Strategy, Planning, Process optimization and creating performance indicators. Justification: According to researches, the NGO Managers in Turkey, lead the organizations with passion, but most of them have lack of management skills which makes their NGOs low impactful. AIESEC brings in this project, international interns (university students from 18-30 years or recent-graduated) to apply their knowledge in those organizations to make them more efficiency in order to make them have more results and bring more impact to the society. Project: Meet My Friend (MMF) Issue: English literacy and Cultural Understanding. Description: Working in High Schools in Turkey, the project aims to develop English Skills and Cultural Understanding in High School Students through interactive presentations, discussions and activities related to themes connected with Turkey’s Real Social Issues. Justification: Even though English education is included in the national education system, according to researches, the English Level of Turkey is considered as low proficiency in the global scenario and one of the lowest between the European countries. Also according to the Annual European Report, Human Rights, Democracy and Discrimination based on color, gender, religion and minorities are top issues in the country for its social development, which prevents the country to be accepted among the European Zone. Project: Yalova University Project Issue: Cultural Exchange Description: interns will have presentations at university about their culture and some specific topics. At least one meal and accommodation are provided. Time: Feb 23rd to 5th April Place: Bursa Project: Break Up the Barriers in Yalova Issue: Language Education Description: interns will go to rehabilitation centers for teach basic English to disable children. Project: Experience Mediterranean Tourism Description: The aim of this project is to provide experience to the students of Tourism and Hospitality as well as to promote Eastern Mediterranean University, Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality in Eastern Mediterranean University & Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Globally. • There will be 20 Interns in this Project • 4 teams • In each Team Containing 5 Interns Including 1. Project: Cross Border Links Description: Cross Border Links Project is about preparing and delivering workshops to university students about economy, international trade and business administration with an international team. Exchange Participants are expected to make researches and hand reports in comparison of Turkey with their countries of origin about economics & administration. Project: Millennium Project Description: Looking for foster the discussions that promote the development of critical thinking, through activities that stimulate creativity and strengthen the school environment, showing the importance it has, the Millennium Project also through its interns shares knowledge, build a diverse knowledge environment. Objective: Bring awareness of the Millennium Development Goals to public school students and / or private, discuss the goals and think of actions to solve the problems through talks and workshops, suiting the understanding of children, making them ambassadors of the Goals. The accommodation will be provided and guaranteed by AIESEC in Host Families. These houses have Wi-Fi, and expect you to an amazing cultural exchange during the days of your internship. Project: Gira Mundo Project Description: Looking for an environment of inclusive education through culture activities, information and fun, the Gira Mundo Project allows third sector organizations working with young people and / or children to promote a discussion about global environment issues. Objective: The intern will work on Gira Mundo Projrct inside NGOs doing workshops with children and youth to develop their abilities and present a new vision of the world. The intern will lead workshops about issues: Social Responsibility, Environment Issues, Entrepreneurship, Human Rights, Sustainability and Multiculturalism. Project: Carta da Terra Project Description: The project "Earth Charter", Global Citizen, is the result of a partnership between AIESEC in Brazil and the Earth Charter Brazil. The project aims to bring exchange students to give classes and workshops on the contents of the Earth Charter to students from public and private schools on issues such as respect for all forms of life, ecological integrity, social and economic justice, and non-violence. Objective: Disseminate the Earth Charter's principles and practices throughout Brazilian public and/or private schools. To facilitate workshops about the Earth Charter's content, using the official materials and following the given timeline. The accommodation will be provided and guaranteed by AIESEC in Host Families. Project: i(L)earn Description: i(L)earn is a journalistic camp for kids, whereby we would be training the students to be curious and open to the international world. In this program, EPs will have to teach students the four basic English skills, which are writing, listening, speaking, and reading. Also, EPs will have a chance to share about Morocco cultures by having an experiential learning. The outcome from all these activities is a magazine made by the EPs and students. Other: Housing is provided. It is required to bring traditional Moroccan clothes (to be presented in the camp) and other Moroccan traditional objects. Time: Feb 21st to 4th April Place: Jakarta
