Talega Home Sales Statistics
We had a slow start to 2015 but the Talega Spring market blossomed very well with inventory staying pretty level, with an average 70.2 homes active, 39.9 in escrow and 19.2 homes sold per month, with an average marketing time of all homes 91 days. If you look at the charts to the right you will notice positive numbers from last year to this year, that is a great sign that the market is moving in the correct direction heading into the summer months. Currently we have as of 5/28/2015, 73 homes active, 47 In escrow and from 1/1 to date 96 homes sold. First pre-heat the grille to minimum of 350 degrees. Slice the lemons and oranges into 8 separate slices, squeeze lemon and orange on all filets, season filets and let sit until grille is ready, 10 - 15 minutes. Start with filets meat side down and cook for approx. 5 minutes to sear in seasoning, flip over to skin side baste with lemon and orange every minute or two until complete, approx. 5 more minutes, depending on how you like your Salmon, moist inside finish to a medium rare and let stand a few minutes before serving to finish cooking or for a little dryer cook all the way through extra couple of minutes. Depending on BBQ skin may stick to grille that’s OK. Serve with a salad, your favorite veggies and plain rice or rice pilaf. Bon appetite!

August 1st disclosure changes and how it affects you: Those of you have been through the home buying or selling process before might appreciate the fact that as of August 1st there will be no more HUD-1 Settlement Statement, Good Faith Estimate and other forms that we have used for decades. They are being replaced by two completely new forms: The Loan Estimate and The Closing Disclosure. For those of you who are new to the home buying process, the bottom line is that our purchase and closing process will change so much that experts are saying everyone should add at least 15 days to the home purchase contract period to allow for all of the changes.
