Where to Stay in San Diego
Great news! Whether you’re visiting America’s Finest City or planning a staycation here, there are accommodations to fitevery style and budget. Harbor Island and Shelter Island are within minutesof the airport, but feel likea vacation because they’re surrounded by water. If camping is more your vibe, Silver Strand, Campland on the Bay, San Elijo and South Carlsbad State Beaches are popular waterfront campgrounds, but reservations require advance planning. Or head for Julian, San Diego’s favorite mountain getaway, to enjoy a tent or RV site or rustic cabin at Lake Cuyamaca or William Heise County Park.
