Experience the music. Between now and the unveiling of Copley Symphony Hall, we have a wealth of music to enjoy in venues around San Diego. Music Director Rafael Payare will open the 2022–23 Jacobs Masterworks Season with a spectacular production of Verdi’s awe-inspiring Requiem at The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park™, and during the season he will lead symphonies of Beethoven, Brahms, Mozart, Mahler, Shostakovich, and the Venezuelan masterpiece Cantata criolla. Returning for the 2022-23 Season, San Diego Symphony welcomes back virtuosos cellist Alisa Weilerstein and pianists Emanuel Ax and Jean-Yves Thibaudet. Plus, the renowned Garrick Ohlsson will perform Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 3, the sublime pianist Ingrid Fliter interprets Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 23, and the great Guy Braunstein will play Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto. 4

Located on the northwest corner of the California Center for the Arts, Escondido campus, the 1,500-seat Concert Hall is reminiscent of Europe’s classic performance venues.
This mid-sized contemporary church located in the heart of Rancho Santa Fe features an expressive curved-beam roof structure, creating a large, open sanctuary that is accented by stained glass windows and soft lighting.
