Audience Profile My audience target is in the E demographics group which are mostly people who are unemployed, students, pensioners or casual workers. They are also aspirers who seek status, they are orientated to image and appearance, persona and fashion. They prefer attractive packaging more than the content which is why they would also prefer the magazine to entertain rather than inform as it was one of my questions. They are typically younger people who are clerical and have sale jobs. Female – 60 % Male – 40% Average age – 17 People who go to gigs and live events - 74% Shop frequently- 80%

This is Sophie and she is 17 years old. She goes to college Monday to Friday and on the weekends she works in the doc. Martens shop. She is a an atheist as well as a vegetarian. Psychographics- confident and organised student. She collects colourful stationary and reads a variety of books. She spends money on well known brands but seeks a bargain. She is an emotional romantic as well as an action girl, she goes to the cinema or theatre frequently with her friends. She has an alternative/ indie taste in music, and has seen bands such as 1975. She does a lot of cooking, reading, going to gigs, photography and looking around vintage stores. Likes- healthy eating, beauty, nature, seeing her friends, Starbucks, hockey and swimming, festivals and adventures as well as social media like instagram. Dislikes- anti-social behaviour, littering, potatoes, getting up in the morning, exam pressure.
