Más de 50 galerías de todo el mundo se reúnen en el Park Avenue Armory de Nueva York para el Salon + Art Design. Del 10 al 14 de noviembre, habitantes y visitantes de la Gran Manzana podrán admirar y familiarizarse con el arte 3 decorativo del siglo XVIII, pasando por célebres obras de arte moderno hasta innovadoras creaciones de jóvenes diseñadores que crean ambientes inesperados. Obras de Zaha Hadid, Pablo Picasso, David Hockney y Mattia Bonetti serán algunos de los highlights de esta feria de diseño que se ha convertido en un must-see para los principales personajes de la escena creativa. 1. Maru Aguzzi, directora de Gran Salón México, feria anual dedicada a la ilustración contemporánea mexicana, nos revela sus influencias y obsesiones. ¿Cuál es el último libro que leíste? Girl in a Band, la autobiografía de Kim Gordon. Siempre me ha gustado Sonic Youth y el libro está articulado de tal manera que se puede leer en ratos libres cortos. ¿Cuál es el disco que no puedes dejar de escuchar en estos momentos? Histoire de Melody Nelson de Serge Gainsbourg. Es el único disco que me ayuda a bajar los decibeles, algo necesario en los momentos previos a Gran Salón México. ¿Quiénes son los ilustradores mexicanos a los que deberíamos tener en la mira? Sin pasar por alto a los altos mandos –Dr. Alderete y Alejandro Magallanes–, algunos de los jóvenes a los que no hay que perder de vista son Beto Petiches, Amanda Mijangos, Brunice, Abraham Bonilla e Inés de Antuñano. Si pudieras comisionar una obra de arte a cualquier artista, ¿a quién sería y cuáles serían tus especificaciones respecto a la obra? Me interesaría mucho ver un mural de Diego Rivera reflejando los acontecimientos sociales de hoy en día. ¿Qué serie de televisión te ha atrapado últimamente?
