ARMI ANTICHE E MILITARIA Superba vendita di armi antiche alla Casa d’Aste San Giorgio di Genova. Nella sessione che si terrà il giorno 23 del mese di febbraio 2017 saranno messi all’incanto importanti collezioni provenienti da nobili famiglie e committenze private. Le armi da fuoco vedono protagonisti alcuni eccezionali fucili delle più importanti firme italiane e straniere, degna di nota un’arma da caccia fabbricata dal grande armaiolo Michele Lorenzoni, armi cecoslovacche, tedesche e italiane di notevole pregio, le cassette da duello sono ben rappresentate da alcuni eccellenti esempi di armi a sistema e a percussione, rari revolver concludono la presentazione di questo settore. Un superbo gruppo di spade gotiche non mancherà di attrarre l’interesse degli appassionati, tra le armi in asta è presente un roncone della città di Bologna inciso in maniera eccellente con stemma e motto “LIBERTAS”, un esemplare simile è esposto nell’armeria del Museo Civico di quella città. Un interessante gruppo di elmi della fine del XVI secolo e parti di armatura sono presentati in questa notevole vendita.

ANTIQUE ARMS & MILITARIA A magnificent auction of antique arms to be held at the San Giorgio Auction house in Genoa. In the session to take place on 23rd February 2017, important collections from noble families and other private clients will be auctioned. Firearms are without doubt the protagonists of the sale, with some exceptional guns produced by some of the most important Italian and foreign gunsmiths, in particular a hunting shotgun by the eminent gunsmith Michele Lorenzoni, some Czechoslovakian, German and Italian weapons all of considerable worth, duelling cases are also well represented with some excellent examples of system and percussion weapons and a selection of rare revolvers conclude this section. A magnificent group of Gothic swords will certainly attract the interest of enthusiasts and a guisarme from Bologna is among the pole weapons in this auction, that is exquisitely engraved with coat-of-arms and motto “LIBERTAS”; a similar example is exhibited in the armoury of the Bologna Civic Museum. An interesting group of late sixteenth century helmets and armour parts are also up for sale in this outstanding auction.

Lama a doppio filo in damasco sgusciata nella parte centrale e filettata, impugnatura in avorio con rivetti quadrilobati dorati e arricchiti da turchesi, fodero in legno ricoperto di velluto verde, mancante al rovescio a guarniture in argento niellato a girali e braccialetto in acciaio finemente dorato a fogliami. Rara arma in ottime condizioni, lievi difetti. A KINDJAL Russian Empire, circa 1800 Double-edged Damascus steel blade fullered and filleted in the central area, ivory grip with quadri-lobed gilt rivets embellished with turquoise stones, green velvet-bound wood scabbard, losses on reverse, nielloed silver swirl garnitures and a fine gold leaf steel band. 2 SHASHKA Russia, Impero, 1800 ca. Superba lama di fabbricazione persiana o turca in damasco slargante in curva al controfilo tipica impugnatura in avorio fissata da rivetti, fodero in legno rivestito di pelle che presenta danni e mancanze. L’arma ossidata sulla lama è facilmente restaurabile. Rara in ottime condizioni. A SHASHKA Russian Empire, circa 1800 Superb Damascus steel blade of Persian or Turkish origin, widening in the curve at the counter-edge, characteristic ivory grip retained by rivets, leather-bound wood grip presents some damage and loss. Importante lama brunita recante monogrammi e iscrizioni, personaggi e serpi intrecciati magistralmente rimessi in argento e incorniciati da settori decorati a fiamme, fodero ricoperto di pelle di rettile con fornimenti in ottone traforati a fogliami e incisi; impugnatura in osso incisa con paesaggi, figure di dignitari, guardia in bronzo traforata e incisa come le ghiere e il pomo di questa notevole arma. A RARE STRAIGHT SWORD China, circa 1800 Important blued blade bearing monograms and inscriptions, figures and interwoven serpents magisterially inlaid in silver and framed by flamedecorated sections, reptile skin-covered scabbard with brass mounts pierced and engraved with foliaged; bone grip engraved with landscapes, figures of dignitaries, pierced bronze guard engraved in the same manner as the ring nuts and pommel of this noteworthy weapon. Rara arma usata dai mastri d’artiglieria, cuspide in acciaio dorato al mercurio con picca traforata a forma di giglio e incisa a segmenti e girali, alla base draghetti contrari e nodo a lanterna con sei mascheroni, gorbia anch’essa incisa a personaggi, asta scantonata e ricoperta di velluto e chiodature in ottone, parte terminale di restauro. Raro in eccellenti condizioni. A LINSTOCK Italy, Grand Duchy of Tuscany Florence, circa 1600 Rare weapon used by the artillery masters, ormolu steel spike with pike pierced in the shape of a lily and engraved with segment and swirl motifs, opposed dragons at the base and a lantern-shaped knot with six mascherons, socket is further engraved with figures, faceted velvet-covered shaft with brass rivets, terminal has been restored. ARMI IN ASTA E MAZZE ARMATURE E PARTI DI ARMATURA 15 IMPORTANTE RONCONE Italia del Nord, Bologna, 1580 ca. Cuspide a sezione romboidale di robuste dimensioni, becco ricurvo, arresto doppio al dorso e alla base quest’ultima poggiante su nodo a cuscino, gorbia scantonata; il ferro di questa importante arma è completamente inciso sulla superficie in entrambi i lati e punzonato sulla gorbia, apparteneva ad una piccola serie costruita per gli Ufficiali delle guardie di palazzo della città di Bologna, vi sono rappresentate le armi della città ripartite con le scritte “LIBERTAS” fra croci e gigli, girali chiavi decussate simbolo dello Stato della Chiesa e ombrellino crociato da camerlengo, la smerlatura presente sul dorso si riscontra anche sull’esemplare illustrato a pag. 154 (fig. 339) del volume di Boccia Giorgio “L’ARMERIA DEL MUSEO CIVICO MEDIOEVALE DI BOLOGNA”. Rara in eccellenti condizioni, lievi segni d’uso. AN IMPORTANT GUISARME Northern Italy, Bologna, circa 1580 Spike of rhomboidal section of robust dimensions, recurved fluke, double spike on back edge and at the base of this resting on a cushion knot, faceted haft; the blade of this important weapon is completely engraved on the surfaces of both sides and stamped at the socket, it belonged to a small number that were made for the Officers of the guards of the palace of the city of Bologna, they represented the weapons of the city and bear the motto “LIBERTAS” set amidst crosses and lilies, swirl motifs and decussate keys, the symbol of the State of the Church and a crossed umbrella that of the camerlingo, the beading present on the back edge is also found in an example illustrated on p. 54 (fig. 339) in the volume by Giorgio Boccia “L’ARMERIA DEL MUSEO CIVICO MEDIOEVALE DI BOLOGNA”. Coppo ricavato in un sol pezzo ornato da filettature, cresta rilevata e nervata, visiera mobile nella parte centrale griglia traforata costolata e filettata in diagonale apribile mediante pulsante, sulla nuca pennacchiera in ottone anch’essa ornata, resti di imbottitura all’interno. Ottime condizioni, danni e mancanze alla prima lama di coletta. A SO-CALLED “VISCONTEA” CUIRASS HELMET Northern Italy, circa 1600 Skull made in one piece decorated with linear motifs, roped nerved comb, mobile visor with pierced central grill, ribbed with diagonal linear motifs with button opening, brass plume holder at the nape that is further decorated, remains of lining. In legno convesso dipinto sul fronte con motivi a girali laccati in ocra e nero su fondi rossi e l’iscrizione “IHS” sormontato da doppia croce, interni con resti di cinghia per l’avambraccio anch’essi dipinti a decori, piastre di rinforzo in ferro all’estremità e nella parte centrale armati con cuspidi romboidali e arresti ricurvi fissati con alette a riccio alla struttura in legno, i ferri presentano marchi incussi in scudi. AN ARM PLATE Italy, Pisa, circa 1600 Convex wood painted on the front with swirl motifs lacquered in ochre and black on red grounds and the inscription “IHS” surmounted by a double cross, interior with remains of forearm strap that is also painted with decorative motif, iron reinforcement plates at the tip and in the central area with rhomboidal cusps and recurved spikes fixed with curled lugs to the wooden structure, the iron areas present forged marks in shields. In patina, ottime condizioni, danno ad una ascella, si annette un avambraccio che presenta la stessa ornamentazione. SPADE - STORTE - STRISCE

26 SUPERBA SPADA GOTICA Italia del Nord, Brescia, 1240 ca. Importante arma da cavaliere, cimelio degli scontri avvenuti a Marcaria, castello situato sulle sponde dell’Oglio fra le provincie di Mantova, Cremona e Brescia. L’imperatore di Svevia Federico II in contrasto ai comuni della Lega Lombarda tra gli anni 1236 e 1251 provocò una serie di interventi armati contro il suddetto castello. The Emperor Frederick II of Swabia, contrasting with the communes of the Lombard League between 1236 and 1251, provoked a series of armed raids on this castle. Massive and robust double-edged blade with centra fuller, stamped on both faces with a round mark of a rostrated cross on one side and on the other just the circle remains visible, cross guard with slightly tapered square quillons turned towards the tip, wide tang where the leather-covered wooden and corded grip scales were inserted, very large disc-shaped flattened pommel with heightened and faceted edge. Ces”, intagliata e scolpita a filetti, palmette, girali e ornata da camei perlinati con profili di personaggi all’antica in oro, ricchi fornimenti in argento cesellati di straordinaria esecuzione su fondi graniti con trofei di armi, musici danzanti, scene di caccia, su paesaggi mascheroni satirici, teste di cinghiali, personaggi fra cornici barocche raffiguranti scene erotiche al calciolo, nella sede del grilletto placca in argento ornata da mascherone, cosa non consueta, eccezionale radica di noce venata, nel calcio sportellino apribile a scatto contenente la sua baionetta. Ces”, chiselled and carved with linear motifs, palmettes, swirls and beaded cameos with profiles of figures in antique style in gold, rich chased silver mounts are extraordinarily executed on grained ground with trophies-of-arms, dancing musicians, hunting scenes, on satirical mascheron landscapes, boar heads, figures between baroque frames depicting erotic scenes on the butt plate, silver plaque around the trigger decorated with a mascheron, rather unusual, exceptional veined walnut burr, compartment in the butt that opens and contains its bayonet. Canne ottagonali in damasco micro rigate in calibro 10,5 mm. firmate sui piani dall’armaiolo “KEHNLR IN PRAG” (Anton Kehlner attivo a Praga, vedi Stockel Vol. I pag. 614), castelli e fornimenti finemente incisi a girali e firmati sulla parte ruotante, su entrambi i lati,“PRAG”, la rotazione della avviene mediante la chiavetta apposta sul sottocanna e lo sgancio della molla di sicura e consente l’introduzione nella culatta mobile della carica di fulminato e della palla di piombo; casse in noce finemente quadrettate. Le armi sono conservate in cassetta lastronata in mogano con bordi rinforzati in ottone e maniglia di trasporto (Dim. 26,5x50,5 cm.), interno rivestito in panno bordeaux contenente i seguenti accessori: bacchette di pulizia, fondipalle, oliatore, fiasca da polvere, cariche di riserva, cacciavite inseribile in finto cassettino in ebano. I coperchi dei contenitori sono in ebano con prese in avorio. Rara tipologia in eccellenti condizioni, lievi difetti. A SUPERB PAIR OF BERINGER SYSTEM PISTOLS Czechoslovakia, circa 1830 Octagonal Damascus steel micro-rifled barrels in 10,5mm calibre, signed on the top straps by the gunsmith “KEHNLR IN PRAG” (Anton Kehlner active in Prague, see Stockel Vol. I p. 614), frames and mounts are finely engraved with swirls and signed on the rotating area on both sides “PRAG”, it rotates using a key under the barrel and the releasing of the safety catch allowing the introduction in the mobile breech of the loading of the fulminate primer and lead ball; finely chequered walnut stocks. The weapons are conserved in a mahogany veneered case reinforced with brass edging and fitted with transport handle (Dim. 26,5x50,5 cm.), bordeaux fabric lining, it contains the following accessories: cleaning ramrods, bullet mould, oiler, powder flask, extra primer and turn screws that can be inserted in an imitation ebony drawer. The lids of the containers are ebony with ivory handles. Rare type in excellent condition, minor defects. L. 39,5 cm. € 9.000/12.000

Essa è conservata nell’astuccio originale in noce (Dim. 31,5x16,5 cm.) con bordi e placca centrale in ottone, quest’ ultima recante le iniziali del proprietario, l’interno, rivestito in velluto blu, contiene: bacchetta di pulizia e scatole in marocchino per bossoli di caricamento. Rara in eccellenti condizioni, lievi difetti. A PIN-FIRE REVOLVER France, circa 1860 Rifled barrel in 12mm calibre signed on the top panel “Le Page Freres a Paris 12 rue d’Enghien”, cylinder and frame are finely chequered and with pointillé motifs, chequered ebony grip scales. 105 RARA PLACCA IN BRONZO Austria, Impero, 1915 Cimelio conservato nell’astuccio originale rivestito di marocchino e recante impressa in oro la dedica “Rudolf Singule Kommandant U 4”, interno rivestito in velluto blu contenente la placca (Dim. 16x23 cm), bordo finemente inciso con ancore, croci teutoniche e la scritta “Rudolf Singule - Capitano di vascello comandante del sottomarino U4,.... Kiel 12 - 8 - 1915”, nella parte alta profilo del sommergibile racchiuso da fronde di quercia sormontate da corona imperiale, sul rovescio la marca del produttore “Gladenbeck U Sohn - Berlin”. Il capitano Rudolf nacque l’8 aprile 1833 a Pola e morì il 5 gennaio 1945 a Brno, decorato con la croce dell’ordine militare di Maria Teresa, fece l’Accademia della Marina a Fiume per poi continuare una prestigiosa carriera che lo portò al grado di Capitano di corvetta, nel ‘39 fu richiamato in servizio e divenne Comandante della scuola per sottomarini Ut/4 in Italia e a Kiel, il valoroso Ufficiale venne assassinato per il suo tentativo di proteggere una donna da un militare sovietico ubriaco, altre decorazioni concesse furono: la Croce di Ferro di II e III classe, l’Ordine di Leopoldo, la Croce al Merito militare e il già menzionato Ordine di Maria Teresa. Insieme in ottime condizioni, segni d’uso. A RARE BRONZE PLAQUE Austrian Empire, 1915 Historical object conserved in its original Moroccan leather-linedcase etched in gold bearing the dedication “Rudolf Singule Kommandant 4 U”, blue velvet lining containing plaque (Dim. 16x23 cm), edge finely engraved with anchors, Teutonic crosses and the wording “Rudolf Singule - Captain of the commanding ship of the submarine U4, .... Kiel 12 - 8 - 1915,” upper part bears profile of the submarine enclosed by oak leaves surmounted by the imperial crown, reverse bear the producer’s mark “Gladenbeck U Sohn - Berlin “. Captain Rudolf was born on 8 April 1833 in Pula and died 5th January 1945 in Brno, decorated with the cross of the military order of Maria Theresa, te went to the Navy Academy in Rijeka and then continued a distinguished career that led him to rank of corvette Captain, in 1939 he was called back into service and became Commander of the school for submarines Ut / 4 in Italy and Kiel, the brave official was assassinated for his attempt to protect a woman from a drunken Soviet soldier, he was also awarded other decorations: II and III class Cross of Iron, the Order of Leopold, the Cross of military Merit and the aforementioned Order of Maria Theresa. CONDIZIONI DI VENDITA Condizioni di vendita, la SGA s.r.l. sarà di seguito denominata “San Giorgio”. 1.

Le vendite si effettuano al maggior offerente e si intendono per “contanti”.

Precederà l’asta un’esposizione degli oggetti, durante la quale il Direttore della vendita o i suoi incaricati saranno a disposizione per ogni chiarimento; l’esposizione ha lo scopo di far esaminare lo stato di conservazione e la qualità degli oggetti e di chiarire eventuali errori o inesattezze in cui si fosse incorsi nella compilazione del catalogo. Tutti gli oggetti vengono venduti “come visti”.

La San Giorgio, per quanto riguarda l’autenticità e le attribuzioni degli oggetti in asta, non si assume responsabilità alcuna, in quanto agisce in qualità di mandataria senza rappresentanza dei proprietari degli oggetti posti in vendita e non acquista diritti né assume obblighi in proprio.

Ogni contestazione al riguardo, da decidere innanzitutto in sede scientifica fra un consulente della San Giorgio ed un esperto di pari qualifica designato dal cliente, dovrà essere fatta valere entro otto giorni dall’aggiudicazione. Trascorso tale termine cessa ogni possibilità di contestazione o reclamo. Un reclamo riconosciuto valido porta al semplice rimborso della somma effettivamente pagata, esclusa ogni altra pretesa.

Il Direttore della vendita può accettare commissioni di acquisto delle opere a prezzi determinati, su preciso mandato e può formulare offerte per conto terzi.

Durante l’asta è possibile che vengano fatte offerte per telefono che possono o meno essere accettate a insindacabile giudizio della San Giorgio e trasmesse al Direttore della vendita a rischio dell’offerente. Le richieste di partecipazione all’asta a mezzo contatto telefonico vengono accettate a totale insindacabile discrezione della direzione, compatibilmente alla quantità delle linee telefoniche a disposizione per un determinato lotto. Durante l’asta il Direttore della vendita ha la facoltà di abbinare o separare i lotti o eventualmente di variare l’ordine della vendita.

Gli oggetti sono aggiudicati dal Direttore della vendita; in caso di contestazione su un’aggiudicazione, l’oggetto disputato viene rimesso all’incanto nella seduta stessa, sulla base dell’ultima offerta raccolta.

Prima dell’ingresso in sala i clienti che intenderanno concorrere all’aggiudicazione di qualsivoglia lotto, dovranno richiedere l’apposito “numero personale” che verrà consegnato dalla San Giorgio, alla quale dovranno pertanto essere comunicate dai clienti generalità ed indirizzo mediante identificazione e potrà essere loro richiesto di fornire referenze bancarie od equivalenti garanzie per il pagamento del prezzo di aggiudicazione e diritti. I clienti interessati all’acquisto di armi o parti di esse dovranno in aggiunta fornire gli estremi di un documento che li abilita a tanto (porto d’armi, licenza di collezione di armi antiche o nulla-osta di polizia). La San Giorgio si riserva la facoltà di escludere dalla partecipazione all’asta senza alcuna spiegazione soggetti che disturbino o che facciano commercio in sala, o che siano in ritardo nei pagamenti dovuti a qualsiasi titolo alla stessa o che abbiano con essa un contenzioso aperto sia in via giudiziale che stragiudiziale. Al momento dell’aggiudicazione, chi non avesse già provveduto, dovrà comunicare alla San Giorgio le proprie generalità ed indirizzo.

Alla cifra di aggiudicazione sono da aggiungere i diritti d’asta pari al 25% del prezzo raggiunto in asta, omnicomprensivi di oneri e imposte, escluso addebito spese di trasporto e imballaggio, ove richiesto, che resta a totale carico dell’aggiudicatario.

10. L’acquirente deve versare un acconto all’atto dell’aggiudicazione e completare il pagamento prima di ritirare la merce, a sua cura,rischio e spesa, non oltre otto giorni dopo la fine della vendita. Decorso tale termine la San Giorgio sarà esonerata da ogni responsabilità nei confronti dell’aggiudicatario in relazione all’eventuale deterioramento o deperimento degli oggetti e avrà diritto a farsi pagare, per ogni singolo lotto, i diritti di custodia oltre a eventuali rimborsi di spese per trasporto al magazzino. Qualunque rischio, per perdita o danni al bene aggiudicato si trasferirà all’acquirente dal momento dell’aggiudicazione. L’acquirente potrà ottenere la consegna dei beni acquistati solamente previo versamento alla San Giorgio del prezzo e di ogni altra commissione, costo o rimborso inerente. 11. Per gli oggetti sottoposti alla notifica ai sensi degli art. 2, 3 e 5 della Legge 1-6-1939 n.1089, gli acquirenti sono tenuti all’osservanza di tutte le disposizioni legislative vigenti in materia. L’aggiudicatario in caso di esercizio del diritto di prelazione da parte dello Stato non potrà pretendere dalla San Giorgio o dal venditore alcun rimborso di eventuali interessi sul prezzo e sulle commissioni d’asta già corrisposte. L’esportazione di oggetti, da parte di acquirenti residenti o non residenti in Italia, è regolata dall’art. 36 della suddetta legge, nonché dalle normative doganali e valutarie in vigore. Pertanto, l’esportazione di oggetti la cui datazione risale a oltre 50 anni è sempre subordinata alla licenza rilasciata dalla Sovrintendenza competente. 12. Il presente regolamento viene accettato automaticamente da quanti concorrono alla presente vendita all’asta, ivi compresi coloro che effettuano offerte scritte o telefoniche o partecipano all’asta live. 13. I valori di stima indicati nel catalogo sono espressi in euro. 14. Per qualsivoglia controversia relativa ad operazioni commerciali fra la San Giorgio e la clientela sarà esclusivamente competente il Foro di Genova. 15. CONDITIONS OF SALE Conditions of Sale The auction house, SGA s.r.l., hereafter called “San Giorgio”, declares: 1.

An auction sale is made to the highest bidder and it is an immediately financially binding contract.

The auction is preceded by a viewing exhibition of the objects, during which the auctioneer or the specialists are available for any information. The viewing is organised so that prospective buyers can personally examine the condition and quality of the goods and clarify any eventual errors or inaccuracies that may have occurred during the preparation of the catalogue. No objections may be raised after the sale of the item.

San Giorgio assumes no responsibility for the authenticity and attribution of the sale items, since we only act as the agent and do not represent the sellers of the sale goods, and as such we have no rights or obligations.

Any dispute on this subject shall be first settled between a consultant from San Giorgio and an expert of the same professional level designated by the buyer and we must be notified in writing within eight days of the auction date. After this date, no dispute or claim will be possible. Any claim recognised as being valid will be settled by reimbursement of the paid amount and no further claim may be made.

The Auctioneer can accept commissions for the purchase of works at pre-defined prices, having received a precise mandate prior to the sale and he may formulate bids on behalf of third parties.

During the auction, bids may be made by telephone and passed to the auctioneer at the bidder’s risk, the bid may be refused at the undisputable discretion of San Giorgio. Requests to participate and place bids by telephone will be accepted at the sole discretion of the management and will depend on the number of phone lines available for the specific lot. During the auction, the auctioneer is entitled to combine or divide lots and can modify the order of the sale.

The lots are sold by the auctioneer; in case of objection or dispute regarding a sold lot, it is at the auctioneer’s discretion to place it up for auction again during the same session, starting at the last accepted bid.

Before entering the auction room, any potential buyers, should register in order to receive a ‘personal paddle number’. This will be provided by the San Giorgio staff on receipt of the potential buyer’s details and address, together with identification documents. Prospective bidders may be asked to supply bank references or equivalent guarantees to cover the full payment of the lot he is interested in. Clients interested in the purchase of weapons or their components must also submit the relevant documentation entitling them to keep weapons (firearms licence, collectors licence for antique weapons or police permit). San Giorgio reserves the right to exclude any individuals from partaking in the auction without explanation, when disturbing the auction, if seen to be conducting business in the auction room, those who are late in making their payments, or anyone who may have a contention procedure, whether in or out of court, with San Giorgio. At the moment of the sale of a particular lot, the successful bidder shall communicate their personal particulars and address to San Giorgio immediately afterwards, if not already provided prior to the auction.

In addition to the hammer price, the buyer will pay a buyer’s premium, amounting to 25% of the hammer price, which includes all fees and local taxes. If necessary, the buyer must honour any extra charges regarding the purchase, such as shipment costs, packing charges and importation/exportation taxes, which will be added to the total amount.

10. Following a successful bid, the buyer must pay at least part of the total price immediately and only on completion of payment of all amounts due, can the goods be collected at his own responsibility, risk and cost, within eight days after the conclusion of the sale. After this date, San Giorgio will be freed from any responsibility towards the buyer concerning a possible deterioration or depreciation of the auctioned item and will have the right to claim payment of safe custody charges for each lot, in addition to the reimbursement of any transportation costs to the warehouse. Any risk regarding loss or damage to the sold goods will be transferred to the buyer at the moment of the sale. The buyer may receive the goods and acquire title to the lot only after he has paid the purchase price and any other commission, cost or refund that is due. 11. With regard to the items subject to notification in compliance with article 2, 3, and 5 of the Italian Law no. 1089 dated 1 June 1939, the buyers shall comply with all relevant provisions of the laws in force. In case of exercise of pre-emption rights by the state, the buyer cannot claim from San Giorgio or from the seller any reimbursement of interest on the hammer price and on the auction commission already paid. The export of items by the buyer, whether or not residing in Italy, is governed by art. 36 of the above-stated law and by the applicable customs’ and monetary regulations. For this reason, the exportation of objects over 50 years old, is always subject to a licence issued by the competent Italian authority. 12. These regulations are automatically accepted by all parties partaking in the sale, including those who participate with written or telephone bids, or via the live auction. 13. The estimated values reported in the catalogue are expressed in Euro. 14. For all disputes concerning business transactions between San Giorgio and a client, the court in Genoa is the only court that has jurisdiction. 15. N.B: If the buyer is unable to personally collect the purchased lots, we can organise shipment by courier on behalf of the buyer, subject to his completing and signing our form that will be sent upon request and that must be subsequently returned to us before the shipment date, together with full payment of courier charges.
